Das August Beach House ist eine luxuriöse Villa mit einer Mischung aus einzigartigem traditionellem Interieur und zeitgenössischen Akzenten. Die Innenräume sind in atemberaubendem Weiß gehalten, mit hochwertigem Dekor, traditionellen Mustern und farbigen Akzenten.
Der weiche Sand des Strandes und der Indische Ozean liegen direkt hinter dem weißen Lattenzaun, der die Villa begrenzt. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich eine große Terrasse für Mahlzeiten im Freien vor der prächtigen Kulisse des Ozeans.
Das Strandhaus verfügt über vier private Schlafzimmer, die mit 3 Kingsize-Betten und 3 Einzelbetten ausgestattet sind. Die Zimmer sind hell und sonnig, geräumig und komfortabel. Himmelbetten mit weichen weißen Baldachinen sind eine auffällige Ergänzung zu den Zimmern. Die großen Fenster bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Strand, den Garten und den Pool. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten wie Badewanne und/oder Dusche. Die Zimmer sind klimatisiert und zur Begrüßung gibt es Wasser in Flaschen, Obst und Blumen.

Das August Beach House ist ein wunderschönes Anwesen direkt am Strand und verfügt über einen direkten Zugang zum Strand im Hinterhof. Sie können aber auch zurückbleiben und ein Bad in Ihrem privaten Pool genießen. Sie können einfach zum Strand laufen, im Sand faulenzen, im Meer schwimmen und einen wunderbaren, ungestörten Tag mit Ihren Lieben genießen. Der weiße Lattenzaun sorgt für ein vertrautes Gefühl, denn wenn Sie zurückkommen, sind Sie zu Hause. Die Terrasse und der Garten sind mit Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten im Freien ausgestattet, so dass Sie die freie Natur so weit wie möglich genießen können. Die Kinder können unbesorgt herumtollen, während Sie sich am Sandstrand entspannen.
Die Inneneinrichtung des August Beach House ist vom Reiseziel inspiriert: weiß getünchte Wände, rustikale Fliesenböden, Töpferwaren in eingelassenen Regalen, Jute-Kronleuchter und vieles mehr. Täglich wird ein tropisches Frühstück serviert, so dass Sie Ihren Morgen mit einer schönen und sättigenden Mahlzeit beginnen können. Die moderne Küche steht Ihnen zur Verfügung, wenn Sie hungrig sind oder eine Tasse Kaffee trinken möchten. Sie ist voll ausgestattet und verfügt über alle modernen Geräte. Der Essbereich ist schön mit Sitzbänken und einem breiten Esstisch aus Holz. Er steht neben den Glastüren, so dass Sie sie offen lassen können, um frische Luft und eine ungestörte Aussicht zu genießen.
Die Lage ist idyllisch und der Service ist außergewöhnlich und bietet Annehmlichkeiten von Weltklasse. Im August Beach House haben Sie Zugang zu einem der besten Strände Sri Lankas. Sie können mit Hilfe eines Surflehrers surfen gehen. Sie haben auch einen Pool direkt am Strand. Außerdem können Sie an Kochkursen teilnehmen, um zu lernen, wie man authentische srilankische Gerichte zubereitet. Hierfür fallen zusätzliche Gebühren an.
Die Weligama-Bucht ist eines der beliebtesten Surfreviere in Sri Lanka und bietet das ganze Jahr über hervorragende Surfbedingungen. In der Nähe des August Beach House können Sie problemlos ein Surfbrett mieten und Surfunterricht nehmen, um die Wellen wie ein Profi zu schlagen. Die Villa bietet etwas für jede Art von Reisenden, ob Sie im Garten entspannen, am Strand spazieren gehen oder Wassersport betreiben möchten.
10/10Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..
10/10Myself and my family spent five nights in August Beach House. It was the perfect place to chill out for a few days with everyone and surf. The house is right on the beach and the back garden gate opens onto the beach where there there are plentiful surf rental shacks and surf lessons to be had. The house benefits from a large shaded private garden and lots of communal space inside. Each bedroom has AC and an en-suite. There is also a private pool which was great for the kids and to cool down from the mid afternoon heat. Weligama is a good beginner location for surfing and I imagine there are more advanced surfing locations nearby and lots of bars and restaurants on the main strip although we tended to go to the same one or two places. Special mention to the August Beach House staff who made breakfast and did laundry, we did not want them to clean our bedrooms each day but they offered to do so! All round perfect house for chilling out and surfing on your doorstep.

10/10This is the second time me and my family have stayed at August Beach House. You can’t beat it, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We are already looking forward to returning in the near future. All the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We can’t thank them enough, and Michelle for being a consistently fantastic host !
10/10Michelle’s place was in the perfect location for me and my family. So easy with children as you can go back and forth to beach and nice to have the pool as well. It felt really private with the trees around. The surf spot right in front of the house and boards to rent next door. Great places to eat just steps away. The house staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.
10/10I have stayed at the villa Augusta Beach House with My husband and 2 teenage boys (13&15). The villa has very nice houskeeping ladies and outside manager. You don't see them during the day. Also you feel very safe. They can help you with any question ( dinner, grosaries, some wine, tuktuk, etc.). The layout of the villa is lovely, each bedroom is en-suit, and there is a comfortable living Room on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. The Best thing is the location. The villa is totaly on the beach, but at the same time - hidden between the greenery, so noone can see you. All the surfing schools are next door. The restaurants and bars - as well. Grosary and wine shops - a short drive by tuk tuk. But after swimming in the sea, surfing and walking by the ocean - you feel so happy and grateful to enter your villa oasis and relax in the pool. I do travel a lot with my family to different countries, and this is one of the Best villas i've stayed at. I would definitely recommend this villa to My friends.
10/10August Beach House is a slice of Paradise! If you are coming to Weligama with a big group just book it! The house is even better than the photos (hard to believe till you get here) both the indoor and outdoor spaces are homely and well decorated. The house is on the beach, two steps through the gate and you are in the sea. You are surrounded by great bars and restaurants if you want to eat out. But what makes this stay so magical is the incredible team that look after you whilst you stay. Neeta, Tharanga and Sorriya are simply amazing. Breakfast was delicious every morning and Neeta’s prawn curry is sensational. Sorriya also cooked an amazing seafood BBQ. They keep the house and garden immaculate helping you with any thing you need - including stocking the fridge! We had the most amazing 5 days at August Beach House - thanks to Michelle and the team!
10/10We had a lovely time at Michelle's place! We were 5 people visiting Welligama for the first time, and it was the perfect place to stay. It's much more beautiful in reality than the photos. Super clean, very nicely decorated, and the rooms are spacious. The pool was definitely a highlight, and you can walk right out of the backyard door to the beach! We spent fun days and relaxing nights at the villa, it was truly amazing. The staff were always available to help us with laundry, cleaning, and even groceries. Souriya prepared us fresh coconuts, and Neeta cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. At night there was a security guard which gave us peace of mind. Overall would definitely recommend this for a group of friends looking to have a relaxing holiday by the beach
