La maison de plage comprend quatre chambres privées meublées de 3 lits king et de 3 lits simples. Les chambres sont claires et ensoleillées, spacieuses et confortables. Les lits à baldaquin avec des baldaquins blancs doux sont un ajout frappant aux chambres. Les grandes fenêtres donnent sur une vue absolument magnifique de la plage, du jardin et de la piscine. Les chambres sont climatisées et vous recevrez des bouteilles d'eau, des fruits et des fleurs pour vous souhaiter la bienvenue.

Magnifique propriété en bord de mer, l'August Beach House offre un accès direct à la plage depuis l'arrière-cour, ou vous pouvez rester à l'arrière et profiter d'un plongeon dans votre piscine privée. Vous pouvez simplement marcher jusqu'à la plage, vous prélasser sur le sable, nager dans la mer et profiter d'une journée merveilleuse et ininterrompue avec vos proches. La clôture en piquets blancs ajoute un sentiment de familiarité, car lorsque vous reviendrez, vous serez chez vous. La terrasse et le jardin sont entièrement aménagés avec des espaces pour s'asseoir et manger en plein air afin que vous puissiez profiter au maximum de l'extérieur. Les enfants peuvent courir en toute tranquillité pendant que vous vous détendez sur les rives sablonneuses.
Les intérieurs de l'August Beach House s'inspirent de la destination avec des murs blanchis, des sols rustiques et carrelés, des poteries dans des étagères encastrées, des lustres en toile de jute, etc. Le salon est doté de portes vitrées qui révèlent la vue spectaculaire sur le jardin et la plage, avec les palmiers qui dansent au gré du vent. C'est un espace vraiment relaxant et convoité où vous pouvez passer des heures à lire, à passer du temps avec vos proches et à vous détendre. Avec ses canapés et ses fauteuils confortables, le salon offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin dans une salle familiale.
Un petit déjeuner tropical est servi tous les jours pour que vous puissiez commencer vos matinées par un repas agréable et nourrissant. La cuisine moderne est à votre disposition si vous avez un petit creux ou si vous voulez une tasse de café. Elle est entièrement équipée et dispose de tous les appareils modernes. Le coin repas est magnifique, avec des banquettes et une large table en bois. Elle se trouve près des portes vitrées, ce qui vous permet de les laisser ouvertes pour profiter de l'air frais et d'une vue ininterrompue.
L'emplacement est idyllique et le service est exceptionnel avec des équipements de classe mondiale. À l'August Beach House, vous avez accès à l'une des meilleures plages du Sri Lanka. Vous pouvez faire du surf avec l'aide d'un moniteur. Vous disposez également d'une piscine en bord de mer. Vous pourrez également participer à des cours de cuisine pour apprendre à préparer des plats sri-lankais authentiques. Des frais supplémentaires s'appliquent.
La baie de Weligama est l'une des zones de surf les plus populaires du Sri Lanka, avec d'excellents spots de surf tout au long de l'année. 10/10The best thing about August beach house is it's location..sits right on the beach with lots of nice bars, restaurants and surf schools nearby. The staff were very kind and courteous and they keep the place squeaky clean through out our stay.
10/10Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with stunning views—and the house itself is stylish, comfortable, and well-maintained. A huge thank you to Neeta, Surya, and the entire team for their warm hospitality and attention to detail, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. Whether we were relaxing on the veranda, exploring Weligama, or catching waves just steps from the house, everything felt seamless. And of course, a special thanks to Michelle for creating such a beautiful space. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront escape!
10/10Myself and my family spent five nights in August Beach House. It was the perfect place to chill out for a few days with everyone and surf. The house is right on the beach and the back garden gate opens onto the beach where there there are plentiful surf rental shacks and surf lessons to be had. The house benefits from a large shaded private garden and lots of communal space inside. Each bedroom has AC and an en-suite. There is also a private pool which was great for the kids and to cool down from the mid afternoon heat. Weligama is a good beginner location for surfing and I imagine there are more advanced surfing locations nearby and lots of bars and restaurants on the main strip although we tended to go to the same one or two places. Special mention to the August Beach House staff who made breakfast and did laundry, we did not want them to clean our bedrooms each day but they offered to do so! All round perfect house for chilling out and surfing on your doorstep.
10/10Michelle’s place was amazing! Excellent location, just 10 steps to the beach and close to plenty of good restaurants. The staff made the stay so easy providing a great breakfast every morning and also gladly doing our laundry and tidying our rooms every day. The security each evening gave us peace of mind (not that’s it’s needed we always felt safe). Beds were super comfy, all rooms were spacious along with great communal areas. In summary it was better than we imagined, if Michelle’s place is free and you’re looking to stay in Weligama stop searching and book it now!
10/10Our family of four treated ourselves to a 2 night stay while travelling around Sri Lanka. It was fantastic for us all to spread out and have space to relax and be by the sea. The house is spacious and has high quality furnishings with absolutely everything you need for a fun holiday. It would be very well suited to bigger groups to stay with multiple places to sit or lie. I especially loved making a cup of tea and lying on the loungers on the very wide upstairs balcony watching the early morning surfers……….the view from the second storey is incredible! The beds were extremely comfortable and the designer linen and perfect pillows made for a restful sleep every night. Special mention must be made of the lovely staff who made our stay even more special. We were treated to lovely, plentiful breakfasts, one of which was Sri Lankan where we tried string hoppers. We also had the privilege of having a beautiful lunch cooked, the best curry and dahl on the island! A blissful stay indeed.
10/10This is the second time me and my family have stayed at August Beach House. You can’t beat it, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We are already looking forward to returning in the near future. All the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We can’t thank them enough, and Michelle for being a consistently fantastic host !
10/10We loved our stay at August Beach house. Michelle’s house is exactly what you see in the photos. It is right on the beachfront with a little gate directly to the sand. Whilst it is on a very busy road we always felt relaxed there and the pool was wonderful. There are great restaurants within easy walking distance. The housekeepers were fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying at this place.
10/10Michelle’s place was in the perfect location for me and my family. So easy with children as you can go back and forth to beach and nice to have the pool as well. It felt really private with the trees around. The surf spot right in front of the house and boards to rent next door. Great places to eat just steps away. The house staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.
10/10We had a lovely time at Michelle's place! We were 5 people visiting Welligama for the first time, and it was the perfect place to stay. It's much more beautiful in reality than the photos. Super clean, very nicely decorated, and the rooms are spacious. The pool was definitely a highlight, and you can walk right out of the backyard door to the beach! We spent fun days and relaxing nights at the villa, it was truly amazing. The staff were always available to help us with laundry, cleaning, and even groceries. Souriya prepared us fresh coconuts, and Neeta cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. At night there was a security guard which gave us peace of mind. Overall would definitely recommend this for a group of friends looking to have a relaxing holiday by the beach
10/10August Beach House is a slice of Paradise! If you are coming to Weligama with a big group just book it! The house is even better than the photos (hard to believe till you get here) both the indoor and outdoor spaces are homely and well decorated. The house is on the beach, two steps through the gate and you are in the sea. You are surrounded by great bars and restaurants if you want to eat out. But what makes this stay so magical is the incredible team that look after you whilst you stay. Neeta, Tharanga and Sorriya are simply amazing. Breakfast was delicious every morning and Neeta’s prawn curry is sensational. Sorriya also cooked an amazing seafood BBQ. They keep the house and garden immaculate helping you with any thing you need - including stocking the fridge! We had the most amazing 5 days at August Beach House - thanks to Michelle and the team!
10/10I have stayed at the villa Augusta Beach House with My husband and 2 teenage boys (13&15). The villa has very nice houskeeping ladies and outside manager. You don't see them during the day. Also you feel very safe. They can help you with any question ( dinner, grosaries, some wine, tuktuk, etc.). The layout of the villa is lovely, each bedroom is en-suit, and there is a comfortable living Room on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. The Best thing is the location. The villa is totaly on the beach, but at the same time - hidden between the greenery, so noone can see you. All the surfing schools are next door. The restaurants and bars - as well. Grosary and wine shops - a short drive by tuk tuk. But after swimming in the sea, surfing and walking by the ocean - you feel so happy and grateful to enter your villa oasis and relax in the pool. I do travel a lot with my family to different countries, and this is one of the Best villas i've stayed at. I would definitely recommend this villa to My friends.
10/10A luxurious and spacious villa, literally on the beach with the ocean seconds away. This home is perfect for families with small kids. The staff (Neeta and Shehan) were so helpful, responsive to our every ask, respectful and always went above and beyond. Breakfast was so delicious, and it was included every morning (eggs, toast, fruit, espresso coffee and tea). Check-in was easy as Shehan met us outside, and even offered a trip to the nearby groceries for any needed items. The bedrooms were all beautiful and each had A/C, so it didn't really matter which one you stayed in. There's an entire living area upstairs with heaps of DVDs, but we never watched any ourselves. There are (foam) surfboards provided and two boogie boards which were super fun to use. The swimming pool is a good size and very clean, not too chlorine'y either. Michelle even provided a few beach toys for our bub to play with, which was great and provided hours of entertainment. This stay was such a highlight and we would love to come back again and again.
10/10The team at the August Beach house was extremely welcoming , efficient and friendly. They made our stay with our friends memorable !! I have to mention the house comes with the staff who prepares the breakfast and cleans up the space in the morning thus making our stay comfortable and less stressful. Joe and Michelle were very easy to communicate and very quick to respond always. It easily accommodated 8 of us without crowding the place, with thoughtful touches all throughout, Almost felt like home, but frankly the location of this place is what makes this the most desirable property around its on the beach and feels so private. Will come back to it again and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.
10/10Amazing house right on the beach. Great beach to learn to surf, our 8 year old enjoyed daily surf lessons. Lots of different space to relax and lounge around. Staff were very helpful and we enjoyed a delicious dinner cooked by Neema. Highly recommended house.
