The villa is located on the most beautiful, quiet stretch of beach. We had an amazing stay and cant wait to visit again. The staff and villa manager were lovely.

Such a great spot for our family of four (2 kids aged 8 and 11), the villa was perfect with a lovely pool and right on the beach! The staff (Mercy and Sanjeewa) were amazing, so helpful, friendly and great with the kids. Mercy’s cooking was amazing so much so that we ate every meal at the villa and hardly ventured out! Our villa manager, even arranged for some wine to be delivered when we couldn’t get it locally - next level service! The villa itself is very comfortable and well laid out, it’s not brand new and pristine but that all added to the charm and we loved it. Some more beach / pool towels would be useful but other than that nothing to improve on. The local area has a few local restaurants and shops which are walkable or easy to get a tuk tuk. Downstairs living areas are all open plan but stay cool with fans, bedrooms are lockable with A/C and there is someone there 24/7 so we felt very safe. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet family friendly villa!

Our stay at Villa Nilaya Sri Lanka was perfect. With a toddler and infant we were able to keep them entertained with the pool, beach, turtle hatchery and short Tuk Tuk rides to close by towns/beaches. Everything was easily accessible. The beach directly in front of the villa is very clean and private, with not many people on that section of the beach. The staff were amazing and helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommend

We came to the villa for a family holiday with our 2 year old, everything about the villa, the location and the surrounding area were perfect. The open plan villa leading to the pool and grass area, straight down on to a beautiful beach. The area is out of the main touristy spots which was perfect for us and meant we were often the only people on the beach. Lahiru and Sujeewa who looked after us at the family were outstanding- the warmest friendliest Sri Lankan hospitality you could ask for. They went out of their way to make sure we had every comfort, the Sri Lankan meals Lahiru prepared were so delicious and varied, the house was always spotless, they did the shopping, and made useful suggestions for things to do or what to eat that day and the whole family enjoyed their company. You are just short tuk tuk rides from all the more touristy spots in the area, we swam with giant turtles nearby, went to galle fort and hit a couple of the local surf spots. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday - thankyou!

We've just sent 4 relaxing days at Nilaya, a perfect way to end our holiday in Sri Lanka. The villa was perfect and the pool and beach were beautiful and so much fun. The staff were wonderful and very accomodating.

You have both been very attentive to our needs & the girls have really enjoyed tasting so many delights! We love this location - the beach here is beautiful & it's great to have such easy access. It holds a special place in our heart as we got married in Talpe 10 years ago so we were excited to bring our 3 girls here to show them and we know they will share our love for Galle. Vidura has kept the villa incredibly clean for us so we really appreciate it! Thank you for a lovely time and the best rice and curry!

What a magical place. We have loved our stay at Villa Nilaya. First holiday for our daughter Lara and she loved swimming every day and evening walks along the beach. The location and setting of the villa is perfect. We are going to miss hearing the waves and the amazing view out to sea. Staff are fantastic, especially the chef - a great mix of Sri Lankan and western cuisine. Thank you team for a fantastic holiday - we will be back!

From the moment we walked in the villa, we were stunned by the view. Villa is beautiful, open and airy, and our kids Noa and Lucca (3 yo) loved spending their time at the pool and the beachfront. The turtle hatchery next door also contributed the entire experience. Villa staff is extraordinary and Chef Lahiru is an absolute rock star. His meals made half of the experience. Kids have already asked when will we be back :)

We had an amazing family holiday. Prabath, Ayesh and Wilmut were all fantastic and looked after us from home made yummy Sri Lankan curries to playing UNO with our daughter, keeping the villa in tip top shape to just telling us about the culture and local places to see and experience. Great location, amazing villa, totally recommend, thank you so much, wouldn't have changed a thing and will certainly be back :)

A perfect stay at Villa Nilaya! We came to Sri Lanka not knowing what we expect. We leave Sri Lanka with smiles on our faces and knowing we will be back. Much thanks to our stay here at Villa Nilaya. After travelling through Sri Lanka with lots of fantastic impressions and experiences, we really enjoyed the very relaxing and homely atmosphere of Villa Nilaya. The villa was not less than a dream with its view on the beach and the ocean, and a perfect end of our trip to speed. Prabath and his team looked after us so well that we rather felt as part of family than being guests. The tasty food Prabath prepared for us was superb and the time, support, and spectacular service of the team made our stay unforgettable.
