I stayed in 2 of the Jet Wings and a homestay and Eraeliya is by far the best place in Sri Lanka to stay. The staff are fantastic, the food and menu is sublime and the view of the sea is beautiful. It's a tranquil, calm place, perfect for reading, relaxing and kicking back!

We stayed for four nights, and would have extended our stay if Eraeliya hadn't been fully booked already. Eraeliya was our favourite during our three weeks in Sri Lanka. A wonderful mix of a great location (view on the sea and direct access to a small tranquil beach - though only suited for good swimmers), a tastefully decorated mansion with a great collection of art work and furniture, and a wonderful welcoming team. The perfect place to relax. We loved our ocean front suite on the top floor, but the bungalows are nice too.
