Satori Villa

What a wonderful holiday we had at villa Satori . A 60th birthday celebration week for a group of friends from across the world . The villa and accommodation was 1st class and spread out across the grounds. Ishanka and the staff could not have done anything more - they looked after every need we had and were more than happy to do organise everything we asked . The food from chef Shanaka and team was 1st class - so good no one wanted to eat anywhere else . We couldn’t recommend the villa more highly . I certainly hope we have the opportunity to go back . Great for groups of friends or family groups .

We had a family get-together in Satori - son and family from Oz, son and family from Ireland and myself and my wife. There were 6 adults and 5 children. Satori was ideal with separate ensuite accommodation for each couple and for the children. The swimming pool was lovely and the dining area was great for family gatherings at meal time and in the evening. The food was excellent with a great variety on offer from Chef Shanu. The manager Ishanka was so efficient and helpful. We could message him at any time of the day/evening and he would respond immediately. No request was too big and every question was answered with the benefit of his local knowledge. All local attractions are easily accessible by Tuktuk. We would strongly recommend Satori for a holiday. I think the appropriate word to describe Satori is "idyllic".

Satori is more of an experience than just a place of stay. The location, amenities, host, chef and, the effort to make it all work to your liking is what stands out the most. Ever since the time of booking until the time that we checked out, everything was taken care of, without a compromise and that says a lot. Special shout out to Katy, Ishanka, master chef Shanaka and the support staff for making it memorable. And if there is one thing that I can nitpick, it would be to have an idea of a slight inconvenience in getting there in larger vehicles, the last half a mile, to be precise. But even that was tended to, which indeed is a testimony to the effort of the staff. 10/10, definitely coming back to this one, keep up the good work, guys, cheers!

We had a magical vacation in this villa. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by greenery made the week incredibly serene. And the kids loved the antics of the monkeys. The kindness of the staff looking after us was incredible, and chef Anthony's food was super yummy. There are more modern and luxurious villas on the market, but this felt like home.
