Four, well-appointed and large bedrooms are offered at Glasshouse Kandy and have been furnished similarly with king beds or queen bed for a comfortable night's sleep. There are large glass doors that lead to a private veranda or the garden, so you can kick back and relax as you breathe in the fresh air and let your eyes soak in the mesmerizing view of the hills and water abundant. Swim in the cool, crisp water of the pool or doze off on the lounge chair for a relaxing and replenishing time in a place where nothing and no one will disturb your peace. Under a shingled gazebo, you'll find an alfresco dining area for the perfect BBQ that can be arranged upon request!
Haciendo honor a su nombre, Glasshouse cuenta con espacios de estar y comedor encerrados entre paredes de cristal que ofrecen infinitas y amplias vistas de las vistas vecinas de Digana, así como abundante luz solar. La zona de estar junto a la piscina es tan buena como el concepto abierto con sus paredes de cristal y puertas correderas de cristal que conducen a la cubierta de la piscina o a un balcón que envuelve la villa. La espaciosa distribución y la perfecta combinación de la naturaleza con la vida en el interior permiten una estancia cómoda, aireada y alegre en la que los huéspedes pueden disfrutar con sus seres queridos. Disfrute de una copa de vino mientras se recuesta en los cómodos sofás y contempla el paisaje.
Si desea cenar en el interior, hay una mesa redonda en la sala de estar con capacidad para ocho comensales, en medio de toda la grandeza natural a sólo una pared de cristal. Disfrute de deliciosos festines preparados en la cálida y acogedora cocina, totalmente equipada con interiores de madera y una ventana con vistas. Si quiere cambiar de aires desde la piscina, puede montar a caballo o ir al campo de golf, y ambas cosas se pueden organizar con un coste especial. También puede organizar el transporte para llevarle por la ciudad.
Glasshouse is found in Digana, a village in Sri Lanka, which offers a laidback and restful vibe to tired travellers looking for a retreat and some time out from busy lives. For exploration, there is always Kandy, a mere 24 km away from the villa, where you have a plethora of fun things to see and do! You can visit the National Parks, or ancient ruins, unless you'd rather hike across the many natural wonders in town that are awash with precious, lush greenery!
10/10Almost a piece of heaven on earth We were at Glasshouse Victoria from the 13th April 2023 to 16th April 2023. It was one of the best holidays we have had. The location was simply breathtaking, surrounded by trees and overlooking a lake. The rooms being spacious is an understatement. They were massive, and so comfortable. Beautiful infinity pool which overlooks the lake. Food - Arguably, you will not get better food than this anywhere else. Chef Kevin was excellent. A very decent human being, apart from being a great Chef, and eager to please his guests. Service - Absolutely great. Amith was always around to look into every possible detail and assist us with everything. I had a back pain the last day, and he took the time call me the next day - after we arrived in Colombo to find out how I was doing. Such, is the attention to detail. Then there was another lady, whose name I do not know, who kept the place very clean and tidy. All in all a fantastic holiday and we would go there again - hopefully soon!!
10/10What an absolute gem of a place ! Loved everything about the glasshouse. Such a tastefully built and furnished space with so much to keep you occupied with. They have a top notch collection of board games and a fabulous book collection. Both Paul and Shirani's presence is echoed in the tiny little details they've left in the house and you'd feel right at home snuggled up in a couch overlooking the infinity pool , reading Paul's many tales of his travels and life. We loved it so much that we bought two copies ( the whining pome , to the point and on the road again) to take back with us. The staff is lovely and went an extra mile to make sure we were so well looked after. They even gave us a surprise awrudu table as our stay fell on the new years' day. They have a fabulous chef who could make literally anything you'd fancy. I don't have enough words to describe how incredible the sunrise views by the pool are. You must see for yourself.? Will sure be back soon.
10/10Perfect Location - Stunning Views We had an amazing stay at this lovely villa - designed to perfection in one of the best locations with absolutely stunning views. Good food, lovely presentation and very attentive staff. There's a nicely designed little bar area as well
