Villa Sulanga es una impresionante casa de vacaciones en Sri Lanka, obra del arquitecto Channa Daswatte, situada a sólo 5 minutos del lago Koggala y a 25 minutos en coche de la histórica ciudad de Galle. Las impresionantes vistas del océano Índico pueden disfrutarse desde la espaciosa terraza, una de las muchas zonas al aire libre donde los huéspedes pueden relajarse.
Con tres dormitorios, la villa, junto con las vecinas Villa Ahasa y Habaraduwa House, puede alquilarse para unas vacaciones en familia numerosa. Villa Sulanga cuenta con un equipo de empleados dedicados, incluido un gerente de la villa, para atender a sus huéspedes.
La singular Villa Sulanga cuenta con tres dormitorios pintorescos, encantadores y confortables. Dos de ellos están interconectados y se encuentran en la planta superior y se abren a un amplio porche que permite ver el océano Índico. El tercer dormitorio se encuentra en la planta baja con una ducha exterior. Las camas con dosel de tamaño king, los muebles tradicionales y los techos inclinados desprenden un encanto del viejo mundo.
Lasantiguas puertas de madera conducen directamente al patio o a la veranda de la planta superior, lo que permite la entrada de abundante luz solar y aire fresco cuando se necesita. Las habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado y baño privado. Los baños son amplios, con una lujosa bañera en el primer dormitorio y duchas en los otros dos.

The comfortable and homely living area at Villa Sulanga has been designed to cater to a familiar ambiance with plush natural-grey couches with brightly-coloured throw pillows. You have a stunning collection of artefacts gathered from across the island of Sri Lanka along with Chinese furniture, framed mirrors, vases, and artwork. The colonial-inspired décor is testament to the history of Sri Lanka and elements of modern tropical living echo the work of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa.
The dining area at Villa Sulanga is housed separately in an open-concept pavilion or a traditional ambalama - a place to rest - adjacent to the living room. The dining room extends views of the ocean right from the table itself so you have an amazing backdrop while you relish wholesome Sri Lankan food. For your enjoyment, you have complete access to the books and DVD library to keep yourself busy when it is too hot to go outside or if you want to stay indoors and rest. A private chef is happy to delight you with local, and international, flavours on request.

10/10My wife and I have had villa vacations in many places - Bali, Phuket, Koh Samui. Without doubt, our stay at Villa Sulanga was the best ever! The villa itself is very good, well maintained. Truly on the beach, just step away from the villa's gate. The staff and their service were excellent. The manager Asanka took care of all our needs and requests with aplomb. The Chef made Sri Lankan dishes we requested and they were delicious. Top it all, the staff sprung a elaborate celebration for our wedding anniversary. It was truly memorable. I will certainly recommend Villa Sulanga highly!
