Villa Victoria is home to four bedrooms, with doors that lead to the garden, terrace or the pool deck. The spacious and elegant design lends itself to a charming stay with utmost comfort and a relaxed vibe. The beds are king-sized and single beds with canopies on some with white lacy drapes. Each of the bedrooms is air-conditioned to ensure that you have a suitable and well-maintained temperature indoors regardless of the afternoon heat.
From the wooden floors to the wooden ceiling, the minimal interiors are contemporary and yet echo remnants of the past. European aesthetics are not overlooked when it comes to décor. There are well-designed bathrooms accompanying the rooms as well.
While the bungalows are situated around the garden and the 10-metre shared swimming pool, the best part has to be the direct access to the beach. Villa Victoria is well nestled between lush foliage that ensures nothing stands between you and the tropical gardens. Indulge in some morning yoga or breathing exercises, pay your respects to the sun to wake up bright and early and enjoy a lavish swim in the pool followed by a poolside breakfast for an amazing start to your day. The estate houses a full-size tennis court shared among the guests of Ceylon Bungalows.
Modern interiors are interspersed with tropical surroundings and a colonial-era inspired architecture. Villa Victoria houses a luxurious and elegant living space that is designed with low-wooden ceilings featuring charming pendant lights, full-length glass doors that open to the gardens and earthy colours for a soothing ambiance. The cool interiors are owing to the air-conditioning however, you can leave the doors open for some fresh air. Relax on the plush chairs with your loved ones while catching up with your friends and basking in the serene surroundings. The living area opens on to a veranda which can be used as a larger space to entertain, garden lunch parties and a breezier atmosphere.
Since the living area is open-plan, it even houses the dining area and fully-equipped kitchen so that everyone can spend even more time together. Preparing a meal with your family and friends it truly a cherished experience and Villa Victoria has a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of room to move around, built-in appliances and other useful amenities. The dining area can accommodate guests with ease so you can dig into your delicious meal without a delay.
The bungalows are fully-services with an attentive staff to look after your daily requirements and to make sure the bungalow remains in top condition. There is a security in place so you can enjoy a carefree stay at Villa Victoria. If you wish, the staff can help set up a BBQ in the garden for freshly-grilled food by the ocean.
Found near Bentota beach, the villa is idyllic when it comes to location as you have the turquoise ocean water right in your front yard. Bentota is known for its famous cinnamon estate, Lunuganga, also the home of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa. Relax on the pristine white beaches in Wadduwa and enjoy the stunning panorama fringed by palm trees.
