Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
This villa has a very unique name and its uniqueness is certainly manifested in the various parts of the villa. The Old Lady at The Sea is an exclusive seaside villa, giving it a direct access to a deserted sandy beach. Previously, this villa was an old Dutch house with a colonial personality. After 300 years, this old house was reconstructed to be what it is today.
This huge compound has 9 rooms with a maximum capacity of 22 people, a perfect place for an extended-family reunion or even a company outing. Rooms are divided in two areas, namely the Old Lady and the Young Lady, which share the same grounds.
This villa has a patio, restaurant, terrace, drawing room and comfortably furnished houses containing oriental antiques. Its inner courtyard has a pillared archway with sea-shore walling. Furthermore, this villa is romantically inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The Old Man and the Sea” and is located within a short drive to both Hikkaduwa and Unawatuna beaches.
The view is fantastic and you simply never get tired of it.. just simply reading a book, with your whole body facing the ocean, makes it so joyful!
It is a best place where you can getaway with your family and friends. Hotel is located just in front of the beach with amazing view to the ocean. Rooms are really nice and big. Hotel itself is very clean and well managed
I am so glad I managed to discover your property online and truly it was a holiday of a lifetime. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. The rooms, the location of the property, the food and above all the service
