Die Villa South Point ist eine am Meer gelegene Ferienresidenz, die die Eleganz der damaligen Zeit verkörpert. Die warmen und hellen Innenräume sind mit überwiegend exzellent gefertigten und komplizierten Holzmöbeln und -vorrichtungen sowie mit Holz- und Flechtwerkstücken und britischen und holländischen Kolonialakzenten ausgestattet . Die Annehmlichkeiten sind auf Fünf-Sterne-Niveau - für die Freude und den Genuss der Gäste. Die Villa South Point bietet Ihnen wirklich ein feines Urlaubsleben mit einem altmodischen, maritimen Ambiente.
Die Villa hat drei Schlafzimmer. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein drapiertes Kingsize-Bett sowie ein eigenes Bad mit zwei Waschbecken und einer Regendusche. Das Meer Zimmer hat zwei drapierte, Queen-Size-Betten sowie ein eigenes Bad mit zwei Waschbecken und eine regen Dusche. Sowohl das Hauptschlafzimmer als auch das Meereszimmer haben einen direkten Zugang zum Garten am Meer. Das Pond Room verfügt ebenfalls über ein drapiertes Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Badezimmer mit zwei Waschbecken und einer Regendusche. Das Pond Room öffnet sich zu einem Karpfen- und Seerosenteich hin.

Das 12-Meter-Schwimmbecken ist von Mangroven gesäumt. Nach dem morgendlichen Bad im Meer können Sie sich dem lockenden, glasklaren Wasser des Pools hingeben und Ihre Verbindung mit Ihrem Lieblingselement fortsetzen. Wenn Sie sich sonnen möchten, können Sie auf gepolsterten Holzliegen auf dem gepflegten Rasen des Gartens im Schatten hoch aufragender Palmen liegen.
In dem geräumigen und luftigen Gemeinschaftsbereich der Villa gibt es zwei Wohnbereiche. Der überdachte Wohnbereich - mit gepolsterten Holzliegen - befindet sich hinter dem überdachten Esstisch. Der Wohnbereich im Freien - mit seinen langen, geflochtenen Holzstühlen - befindet sich auf der überdachten Terrasse der Villa. Um diese beiden Sitzecken herum können Sie alle zusammenkommen, um Momente des familiären oder freundschaftlichen Zusammenseins zu erleben. Es gibt auch zwei Essbereiche. Der überdachte Essbereich - mit einem Holztisch für sechs Personen - befindet sich in der Mitte des Gemeinschaftsbereichs. Der Essbereich im Freien - mit einem Holztisch für acht Personen - befindet sich ebenfalls auf der überdachten Terrasse gegenüber dem Wohnbereich im Freien. In jedem dieser Essbereiche können Sie sich an authentischen sri-lankischen Spezialitäten - aber auch an ausländischen Gerichten - satt essen, die vom Küchenchef in der gut ausgestatteten, modernen Küche der Villa frisch zubereitet werden. Ein Abendessen bei Kerzenschein kann auch im Garten - am Strand - arrangiert werden, besonders an windigen Abenden.
Für den täglichen Service in der Villa ist ein effizientes und freundliches Personal verantwortlich, das von einem Manager geleitet wird, der von einem persönlichen Gästebetreuer, einem Poolbetreuer, einem Gärtner sowie von Haushältern und Sicherheitspersonal unterstützt wird. Neben dem Küchenchef können auf Wunsch auch ein Babysitter, ein Fahrer und eine Wäschereihilfe hinzugezogen werden. Diese Dienste sind jedoch kostenpflichtig. Ein Fahrrad-, Auto- und Bootsverleih ist ebenfalls vorhanden.
Die Villa South Point befindet sich in Ahangama. Verbringen Sie verschiedene Tage am Unawatuna Beach - wo Sie in der Bucht schwimmen können - und am Mirissa Beach - wo Sie surfen können. Mieten Sie sich einen Elefanten und erleben Sie einen Tag lang diese sanften Riesen aus nächster Nähe. Auf Ihrer nächsten Tour besichtigen Sie das Galle Fort - ein UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe - und die Handunagoda Tea Plantation And Factory. Auf einem separaten Ausflug können Sie die Schildkrötenaufzuchtstation, den Hambantota Bird Park, den Drive-Thru Zoo, die Undalawe und Yala Wildlife Parks und den Sinharaja Regenwald besuchen. In den Monaten Oktober bis April können in Mirissa und Galle Wal- und Delfinbeobachtungsausflüge organisiert werden.
10/10Amazing location where you have the sea on 3 sides. Great lawn, pool as well. There's no kiddie pool though. The chef team was amazing. They prepared all the meals as per pre-discussed time and very tasty !! Overall, we were a group with 4 small kids (1-5 yr old range) and we had an amazing stay.
10/10One great house in a fantastic location. Particularly noteworthy are the great staff, especially the chef "Ashe" as well as her colleague and the young colleague, who also helped in the kitchen. The food was the best we received in Sri Lanka.

10/10Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.
10/10Magnificent property by the beach! Words don't do justice to the location, aesthetic and comfort. Perfect for families with children. Team of cook (Asha) and housekeepers make you feel right at home with great food and a welcoming smile. The host is very responsive and helps with any requirements you may have. Definitely visiting again!
9.6/10The Villa was the most fantastic holiday retreat for a big family! You step into the perfect oasis once you walk through the door. Staff were outstanding, food was outstanding, the prefect unwind. We hardly left the house for a week it was so good.
10/10Back from our amazing holiday at South Point Villa. This is our fourth time and it was every bit as magical as the first time. We love staying here, it truly is paradise. The location, the immaculate swimming pool and the beach at the bottom of the landscaped garden makes South Point Villa unique and stunning. We really relaxed and unwind as soon as we arrive. As usual the staff are wonderfully attentive and caring .It feels like coming home .The Villa has an excellent chef and he cooks delicious food , well catered for children with a mix of international and local food . Every meal was delicious and we enjoyed eating there very much. We will be back very soon .Thank you South point Villa for a wonderful holiday
10/10This was our second holiday at South Point Abbey. Our first holiday was outstanding. Could it be better. YES. This time we decided to catch the train from Colombo and got picked up about 20 minutes away from the villa. The train was wonderful, spacious, air conditioned, wifi (kids were happy). It was great to arrive at the villa, the staff were excited to see us and for the next 8 days they looked after us so well. The villa was beautiful, rooms were wonderful, food was out of this world! We swam in the ocean twice a day and spent the rest of our time round the pool with the kids. Both families have now decided that we will make this trip an annual one. I did not want to leave. Quote of the trip '' this must be how movie stars feel on holiday''. The staff are beautiful people, they played with our kids and taught them local dances, Nothing was ever a problem for them. Chef is the best! He seems to be continually excited and passionate about his cooking, the food he prepares is the best food I have ever eaten. The most relaxing holiday ever. 10/10Wonderful location, the service was just perfect, the chef was excellent and we even got fresh lobster from the fishermen. The beaches in this area are absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed very much the visit to the owner's family tea plantation. Galle Fort is such an inspiring place to visit and have dinner at the Fort Printers, a beautiful hotel/restaurant in an old Dutch mansion. If you go to Sri Lanka, South Point Villa is an excellent choice.

10/10Our stay at South Point really has been perfect. You staff are incredibly welcoming, helpful and eager to please. We very much appreciate the time Maiti's father took to show us around the family's tea plantation. We will of course be tilling our friends, family and colleagues all about South Point Villa, and of course about Sri Lanka. We very much hope to return soon.
