Such a beautiful, colonial style property with an amazing view of the sea, and a small beach you can walk right onto. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing. Our gorgeous room opened up to the pool terrace and we had a delicious lunch and breakfast overlooking the pool and sea. The staff were unbelievably attentive, Sandun was a fantastic server, with a great smile. He made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful boutique hotel.

Absolutely everything: the sea view, the swimming pool, the attention of the staff (very attentive +++), the decoration of the villa, the delicious dinner and breakfast. And as a bonus, the aperitif offered upon our arrival with the staff and the other guests (only happens once or twice a week, we were lucky) at sunset, it was an absolutely incredible stay! If you want to treat yourself, go for it.

Heavenly stay from start to finish. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The experience is very intimate. The garden is incredibly tranquil and the views are amazing. Could not recommend this hotel more. Special shout outs to Sandun who was so attentive and helpful (first class service), and also the young woman who was front of house and the hotel manager who made our stay extra special.

Amazing place to stay, really lovely and attentive staff. Gorjus location right on the water, excellent meals and a nice and spacious room. They also have a spa on site and the massages were really good.

The property is exceptionally located with a high level of attention to detail in terms of design, furnishing, and comfort. The setting is beautiful and the direct beach access is great. The staff are attentive and make you feel at home - a special mention to Rex who made the stay as great as it was!

Everything!!!! Hospitaity, colonial style of villas, cuisine, spa, very professional people in management (special thanks to Vidushi Tharaka, who supported me in anything, gave best recomendations, even I lost my jewlery in SPA - they found for me), its my sevond stay in this hotel and im dreaming to come back!

The hotel is beautiful and the view even better. Every morning you can enjoy their delicious breakfast while looking at the sea. Food is amazing - some of the best we ate in Sri Lanka. Staff are so lovely and kind - Sandun and Rex were wonderful. You can walk down to the local beach. Tuk tuks outside to take you wherever you want to go. Highly recommend, we absolutely loved it.

We had the most amazing 3 nights. It was truly an exceptional experience. The hotel was beautiful, so peaceful and I loved how there was no restaurant so we ate breakfast outside our private hut, had lunch around the beautiful gardens. The food was completely delicious. Sandun was a particular star, he went above and beyond and always had the biggest smile on his face. He is truly a highlight from our stay. We stayed in the Muhudu Bella Hut and it was sensational. Fantastic massage as well. Beautiful views and a hotel that I will always remember.

We were a group of 11 stayed here for a night on our visit to Srilanka... as far as i remember this property has 3 villas. We stayed in the one which has a direct access to the pool.They generally do not let it out for a night but we were lucky and we paid approx 60000 INR for the same. The villa is outstanding and it has 4 huge bedrooms a library /common room with a piano and front desk a pool overlooking the sea , a lawn with direct access to the beach. The meals cooked were very tasty. But the bath rooms were out of the world, Two of the bathrooms had huge rain shower heads , the toileteries were of good quality , its premium but luxurious

It is with great regret that we only managed to stay here for one night. We stayed in the Bella,and what treat.We had left our previous accomodation as it was not suitable and arrived here very early in the morning.No problem,we sat around the pool ,had a delicious lunch,walked on the beach and was made to feel very welcome. Once our gorgeous room was ready we were given the run down re ordering meals ,as your meals are brought to your room, and served on the lovely patio. We found the staff most obliging and friendly. Loved the decor ,the tropical garden,not to mention the lovely pool with a view over sea. Could have been happy to sit in those bean bags all day.

Very relaxing hotel with superb location and excellent facilities. A little bit away from local amenities but this is a small price to pay to stay in such a lovely hotel. We stayed here after a 3 hour drive from Colombo airport - great place to re-charge the batteries in preparation for 10 days or so travelling around Sri Lanka. We had evening meal for two night on the beach at nearby Marissa which was very pleasant but it does require a tut tut drive or a taxi
