River House Dambulla was a sensational start to our Sri Lanka journey. The hospitality, food quality and organisation from the hosts was on another level. Everyone who visits Sri Lanka should stay at least 3 nights at this beautiful place!!

Me and the family had the pleasure of staying at this villa recently. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the stunning surroundings and a sense of tranquility that instantly put us at ease. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by Nandasiri, the caretaker of the villa. Not only did he ensure that we were well taken care of, but he also prepared the most delicious meals for us. Every meal he prepared was a culinary delight. The atmosphere and vibe of the villa were simply enchanting. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying a meal on the terrace, or simply taking in the breathtaking view, every moment felt like a dream. The attention to detail in the villa's design and decor added to the overall charm, making it a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. In conclusion, our experience at this villa was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of the beautiful nature location, Nandasiri's exceptional service, the enchanting atmosphere, and the attention to detail made it a truly memorable stay. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this little slice of paradise.

Good and peaceful location. Really enjoyed the property. Caretaker nandasiri was icing on the cake. Food was awesome. One should definitely try this if you are looking for secluded getaway of 2 to 3 days. Thank you

This property is a gem. We found this to be an excellent place to unwind and relax. We loved the ambience. The house being in woods by the river. The things we loved include the abundant wildlife including many species of birds and giant squirrels. Next to the dining room there are many nests of birds. The rooms are decorated tastefully with a view of nature. The beds and linen are comfortable. We loved the food. Nandasiri the caretaker can churn up nice Sri Lankan food and we enjoyed each meal.
