Vier luxe slaapkamers van de Cloisters Villa zijn verdeeld over twee verdiepingen, drie kingsize slaapkamers en een ruime kinderslaapkamer.
Op de begane grond bevindt zich de master bedroom, die toegang heeft tot een omringend terras en een yogapaviljoen. Het uitgestrekte terras is een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen met een boek, te genieten van het geluid van de branding of gewoon van het maanlicht op het water. Direct grenzend aan de hoofdslaapkamer is de kinderkamer. Naast het zwembad en de tuinen biedt de hoofdslaapkamer ook een adembenemend uitzicht op de oceaan.
Beide slaapkamers op de eerste verdieping, met twee kingsize hemelbedden van zes voet, liggen naast het zwembad en hebben een prachtig terras. Grenzend aan de badkamer zijn smaakvol gemaakte buitendouches met witte terrazzo vloeren. Gigantische schaak- en kladborden staan in elke kamer. Voor verdere veelzijdigheid kan een van deze slaapkamers worden verdeeld in twee aparte bedden. Met ruime kledingkasten, kaptafels, kluizen, airconditioning en muskietennetten is elke slaapkamer uiterst weelderig.
Wanneer u Cloister Villa binnenloopt, wordt u onmiddellijk overvallen door sereniteit en rust. Een aantal historische meubelstukken en mooie kunstwerken die de eigenares van de villa verzamelde tijdens haar reizen over de hele wereld vormen het prachtige decor. Het biedt de ideale combinatie van luxe en kunst.
Meer dan een kwart hectare is gewijd aan de tropische tuinen van de villa. Het prachtig aangelegde terrein vormt een oase van sereniteit en heerlijke rust. Een prachtig zwembad van 50 meter dat afdaalt naar de oceaan ligt tussen het groene terrein. Samen met een grote visvijver en een oud wandelpad met kokospalmen leidt de villa naar de azuurblauwe zee.
Op de eerste verdieping is er een moderne keuken en een ruime, comfortabele salon. Het heeft een compleet koelsysteem. Een compacte keuken met een tweepits inductiekookplaat, gootsteen, kleine koelkast en wijnkoelkast bevindt zich ook op de eerste verdieping. De eerste verdieping heeft een aparte ingang en is volledig ingeperkt.
Opvallend is de prachtige poortingang van de villa, met als belangrijkste punt een aanzienlijke overdekte visvijver. De open woon- en eetruimte kan direct vanaf de deur worden bereikt. De zithoek, met banken en fauteuils, is echt gezellig en comfortabel. Deze kamer heeft vervolgens een deur die direct uitkomt op de tuin en het zwembadpaviljoen.
Hoewel Sri Lanka om veel dingen bekend staat, behoren de warme, vriendelijke en rustige burgers tot de meest aantrekkelijke kenmerken. Bezoekers merken vaak op hoe aardig het personeel van Cloisters Villa is, vooral hoe goed ze met kinderen omgaan. Deze warmte en vriendelijkheid is echt opmerkelijk.
Mihiripenna Beach, zo heet het strand voor de Cloisters Villa, is een grotendeels privéstrand. Het huis ligt vlak voor een prachtige rotspartij op het strand, die natuurlijk prachtig is. Direct voor het huis ligt een prachtige rotspoel, ideaal om in te zwemmen bij vloed. Er is een geweldig zandgedeelte langs het strand om serieus te zwemmen dat 100 meter lang is en geschikt voor sterke zwemmers. Binnen een kilometer bereik je een prachtige zwemplek met rustig water dat wordt beschermd door het rif.
9.4/10Cloisters is a special gem hidden away - so private, so beautiful, and so well set up. We were a family group and there was lots of space and places for us to hang out in and enjoy- wonderful pool and the almost private beach at the end of the garden ! We were able to enjoy drinks in the evening watching the sunset almost on the beach and then be treated to the fabulous food the villa staff made for us every day. Our rooms were spacious, air-conditioned and with mosquito nets over the large beds. Every need was catered for, nothing was too much trouble and the staff were so helpful and went to great lengths to make our birthday celebrations and Xmas day so very special. We loved our time there and will definitely return.
10/10We spent 1 week at Cloisters with 2 families and 5 kids and had an absolute amazing time. One of the best family trips we've had. The location was perfect and the house was more than we could have imagined. We felt at peace, at home and our kids loved the access to the beach, the central pool and all the cool odds and ends around the house. And most of all the service was top notch. Joseph, Yoga and Nehru were the best. So attentive, caring and supportive in arranging all our logistics. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. And the food they cooked for us was out of this world, from the hoppers for breakfast to the fish curry and dhal for dinner, it was more than we could have imagined. I highly recommend Cloisters for any family looking to have an amazing holiday in Sri Lanka. I can't wait to return!
10/10We had the most incredible stay at Pamela’s beautiful seafront property! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the incredible staff. The home itself is a perfect blend of comfort and style, with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Our highlight, of course, was the stunning pool that overlooked the ocean. Whether we were swimming or simply lounging by the water, it was the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking views. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere and the gentle sound of the waves—it felt like our own private paradise. This property truly exceeded all expectations. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway by the sea! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

10/10Cloisters is a special experience. The location right on the beach with access to a sandy cove and tide pools for small children to play safely makes for constant entertainment and the most stunning view. The staff here go out of their way to attend to your every need and request. They make delicious food and assist with making plans for local trips as well. The house is maintained beautifully and styled with taste and fitting the environment. We had plenty of space for our entire family. We have stayed at many places in the Galle area over the years and this is one of the best. We would come back here again and again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
