La villa es flexible a la hora de reservar uno o tres dormitorios en función del número de huéspedes. Podrá disfrutar de los cómodos dormitorios a su antojo. Cada dormitorio cuenta con interiores de buen gusto con techos altos para permitir la ventilación. Dos dormitorios con vistas al mar tienen acceso a la zona de la piscina y el jardín. Hay mucho que ver en los alrededores, desde el Santuario de Aves de Kalametiya, a 20 minutos en coche, hasta el Parque Nacional de Yala. Incluso se puede dar un paseo en barco por la laguna para avistar especies de aves endémicas.
10/10A Truly Magical Stay at Villa Ardeen Our family of four had the pleasure of staying at Villa Ardeen the week before Christmas, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa offers complete privacy with breathtaking ocean views, and the space is generous and well-designed. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A special mention to Mr. Kannan, the villa manager, who looked after us throughout our trip whilst also giving us space and allowing us to feel like we had the villa to ourselves. He arranged an unforgettable safari at Udawalawe National Park and a visit to the Elephant Orphanage—both were highlights of our trip. The chef was fantastic, making sure to accommodate our fussy teen with tailored meals, lovely breakfasts and the staff even set up a beach BBQ for us that was nothing short of spectacular. They had noticed we enjoyed watching the sunset and surprised us by setting up a table and bonfire right on the beach—it truly felt magical. We ended up eating at the villa every evening as it was just so relaxed. The villa itself was spotless and well-maintained, offering a serene environment perfect for relaxation. While the town is quite remote, a short drive brings you to Tangalle, where you’ll find a handful of tourists and local amenities. A walk along the pristine beach leads you to a beautiful lagoon and a quaint beach bar, where we enjoyed some drinks and snacks—but do check the tide times, as we got stranded and needed a tuk-tuk back to the villa! Though the ocean was too rough for swimming during our stay, the villa is ideal for those seeking a tranquil beach escape, or as a base for exploring the beauty of Sri Lanka. The beach really was the star of the show for us on this holiday. It felt at times like we were the only ones there. The villa owner was very helpful before and throughout our stay, offering many tips and recommendations and even checking in with us by phone to ensure everything was going smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our children loved playing volleyball and swimming in the pool, and overall, we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, enjoyable vacation. We highly recommend Villa Ardeen to anyone seeking a serene family getaway or a quiet retreat in Sri Lanka.

10/10Our first visit to Sri Lanka and every location we stayed at was a bonus. Ardeen was at the top of our list for value for money and excellent service. We were blown away when we walked in to the villa- the view was just amazing and the villa itself most comfortable with a beautifully decorated interior adding joy to every minute of our stay. We will be recommending this place to all our friends when we get back home.

10/10Super schöner Aufenthalt 10Scored 10 Tolle Unterkunft. Wer Ruhe und lange Spaziergänge am Strand mag ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wir hatten die Villa komplett für uns alleine. Das Personal war immer für uns da und echt klasse. Es wurden uns alle Essenswünsche erfüllt und es war super lecker. Alles tippi toppi sauber und den Pool hatten wir ganz für uns alleine. Sie dürfen dort zwar kein Alkohol verkaufen, aber wir konnten uns diesen problemlos besorgen und im Kühlschrank aufbewahren. Nochmals vielen Dank an das gesamte Team vor Ort. Gute Arbeit!!! Im Meer baden war während unseres Aufenthalts nicht möglich, bzw. haben wir uns wegen den starken Strömungen nicht getraut.
10/10After a week of sight seeing around the beautiful island of Sri Lanka we booked to say at Villa Ardeen for one week. Nihal the owner was excellent with all correspondence and from the first contact I had with him, I then organised our holiday to fit in with the dates that the villa was available, he was so helpful. The villa is rented with a house manager who organizes the staff and assists you with any requests. There is also a chef and other staff members, so you are not alone in the villa but the staff are very discreet and do not intrude, but they are there. A freshly made breakfast was included and we could choose from a menu to have lunch and / or dinner made too. We tried to travel around to eat in local restaurants, but there are not that many available, so eating in the villa was a great option and the price of the meals at the villa was very very reasonable. The area is not at all developed which adds to its beauty and makes for a very relaxing holiday away. My husband and 11 year old son walked up the coast in both directions most days, again, all very natural and unspoilt. Unfortunately the weather was not that great when we visited and the sea was so rough we could not swim in it, we visited during the beginning of January 2024. The villa is great for rest and relaxation, the wifi was pretty good too and for the short periods that it stopped raining, we laid by the pool on the sun beds. The house manager (Ranna?) organised a fishing boat to take us out for the morning, he took us the the tuk tuk and then we came back in another tuk tuk, nothing is too much trouble. Again, due to the weather the fishing was not great, but I don't doubt that had the weather been kinder, it would have been a great outing! According to the brochure in the villa, Ranna could organise yoga, massages and other treats too. The bedrooms were spacious, each with an ensuite, the hot water was good, the beds were comfortable. We were provided with a mosquito net for our bed upon request, towels for the pool and showers were provided, the food was fresh and very tasty, the wifi was pretty good, the house and garden were exceptionally clean and the owner was great to converse with. All in all I would highly recommend villa Ardeen for a relaxing holiday. Thanks Nihal!
8/10We had such a lovely vacation. Was not expecting to be eating the majority of our meals at the Villa but with such an amazing location and staff / cook that really took care of everything. Can’t wait for our next stay at Villa Ardeen. Kids enjoyed the beach and pool but would like to see upgrades on the massive pool. Cooling and remove some of the sharp edges.

10/10Paradise! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa perfectly located, just steps away to what seems like your very own private beach. Extremely spacious, immaculately clean, well furnished and very comfortable with stunning ocean views. It was super lovely to wake up in the morning to the sound of waves and then for a morning stroll on the beach. Relaxing around the nice clean swimming pool in the evenings was immensely pleasurable. The staff at the villa were great, always checking up on us and food was always delicous. We managed to pull ourselves away from the tranquility of the villa to squeeze in a trip to the Yalla National Park. Well worth visiting!
