De villa heeft een prachtige binnenplaats met bloemen in volle bloei, drie goed ingerichte slaapkamers met uitzicht op zee en een eigen achtertuin met een zwembad. Of u nu binnenshuis blijft of naar het strand loopt, elk aspect van Villa Ardeen zorgt ervoor dat u zich ontspannen voelt. Wat is er mooier dan schildpadden te zien eieren leggen aan de kust! De villa is flexibel als het gaat om het boeken van één of drie slaapkamers, afhankelijk van het aantal gasten. U kunt op uw gemak genieten van de comfortabele slaapkamers. Elke slaapkamer heeft een smaakvol interieur met hoge plafonds om ventilatie mogelijk te maken. Twee slaapkamers met zeezicht hebben toegang tot het zwembad en de tuin. Als u door de palmbomen kijkt, ziet u de oceaan en de zachte zandstranden van het strand. Villa Ardeen brengt u dichter dan ooit bij het prachtige Sri Lanka. Van een privé binnenplaats met bougainvillea en frangipani tot een uitgestrekte tuin met een privé zwembad, de buitenruimtes zijn werkelijk uniek. Lotusvijvers geven de ruimte een Zen-gevoel terwijl u misschien een olifant ziet die zich aan het wassen is op de oever. Er zijn verschillende patio- en tuinstoelen van waaruit u kunt genieten van het uitzicht en de frisse lucht.
Ardeen Villa beschikt over authentieke Sri Lankaanse ruimtes ontworpen met een open-kant lay-out zodat u altijd uitzicht heeft op de tuin. Er zijn comfortabele leefruimtes met een grilldeur die uitkijkt op het buitenleven. Van de stoffering tot de kunstwerken aan de muren, er is zoveel cultuur binnen de deuren. Een gewelfd plafond is voorzien van long-span ventilatoren om de kamer te luchten.
Geniet van een intieme en verfrissende eetervaring met uitzicht op de tuin, zodat u kunt genieten van een schilderachtig uitzicht en heerlijke maaltijden. De villa heeft een privé kok die met plezier lokale delicatessen zal bereiden om uw smaakpapillen te verwennen. Een moderne keuken kan worden gebruikt om uw maaltijden, drankjes en snacks te bereiden. Een houtgestookte BBQ is perfect voor een zonnige namiddag.
Met een privékok, schoonmaak en onderhoud is Villa Ardeen echt een vakantieparadijs waar u alleen maar hoeft te ontspannen en waar voor u gezorgd wordt. Het personeel zal met plezier vervoer voor u regelen, zodat u de stad kunt bezichtigen of bezienswaardigheden kunt bezoeken.
Er is veel te zien in de buurt, van het Kalametiya vogelreservaat, op 20 minuten met de auto, tot het Yala National Park. U kunt zelfs een boottochtje maken op de lagune om endemische vogelsoorten te spotten.
10/10After a week of sight seeing around the beautiful island of Sri Lanka we booked to say at Villa Ardeen for one week. Nihal the owner was excellent with all correspondence and from the first contact I had with him, I then organised our holiday to fit in with the dates that the villa was available, he was so helpful. The villa is rented with a house manager who organizes the staff and assists you with any requests. There is also a chef and other staff members, so you are not alone in the villa but the staff are very discreet and do not intrude, but they are there. A freshly made breakfast was included and we could choose from a menu to have lunch and / or dinner made too. We tried to travel around to eat in local restaurants, but there are not that many available, so eating in the villa was a great option and the price of the meals at the villa was very very reasonable. The area is not at all developed which adds to its beauty and makes for a very relaxing holiday away. My husband and 11 year old son walked up the coast in both directions most days, again, all very natural and unspoilt. Unfortunately the weather was not that great when we visited and the sea was so rough we could not swim in it, we visited during the beginning of January 2024. The villa is great for rest and relaxation, the wifi was pretty good too and for the short periods that it stopped raining, we laid by the pool on the sun beds. The house manager (Ranna?) organised a fishing boat to take us out for the morning, he took us the the tuk tuk and then we came back in another tuk tuk, nothing is too much trouble. Again, due to the weather the fishing was not great, but I don't doubt that had the weather been kinder, it would have been a great outing! According to the brochure in the villa, Ranna could organise yoga, massages and other treats too. The bedrooms were spacious, each with an ensuite, the hot water was good, the beds were comfortable. We were provided with a mosquito net for our bed upon request, towels for the pool and showers were provided, the food was fresh and very tasty, the wifi was pretty good, the house and garden were exceptionally clean and the owner was great to converse with. All in all I would highly recommend villa Ardeen for a relaxing holiday. Thanks Nihal!
10/10Enjoyed every bit of our stay here with the family. Beautiful interior designed for comfort and privacy. Excellent service. Very private location with direct access to a pristine beach. Enjoyed swimming and exploring the neighborhood in a tuk tuk.

8/10We had such a lovely vacation. Was not expecting to be eating the majority of our meals at the Villa but with such an amazing location and staff / cook that really took care of everything. Can’t wait for our next stay at Villa Ardeen. Kids enjoyed the beach and pool but would like to see upgrades on the massive pool. Cooling and remove some of the sharp edges.

10/10Paradise! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa perfectly located, just steps away to what seems like your very own private beach. Extremely spacious, immaculately clean, well furnished and very comfortable with stunning ocean views. It was super lovely to wake up in the morning to the sound of waves and then for a morning stroll on the beach. Relaxing around the nice clean swimming pool in the evenings was immensely pleasurable. The staff at the villa were great, always checking up on us and food was always delicous. We managed to pull ourselves away from the tranquility of the villa to squeeze in a trip to the Yalla National Park. Well worth visiting!
