Es propiedad de una pareja francesa que recurrió a la experiencia arquitectónica y los servicios del arquitecto Manjula Kalhara de Silva y el ingeniero G. Mahesh Nandana de Sri Lanka. Un total de 5 magníficas habitaciones para un grupo de 18 huéspedes como máximo hacen de The Divine Villa una propiedad vacacional en toda regla para el disfrute de los miembros de la familia ampliada, parientes y amigos. Todas las habitaciones se pueden alquilar individualmente y son extremadamente privadas y lujosas, mientras que los huéspedes también tienen la opción de alquilar toda la propiedad. La primera habitación se llama Infinity y mide 42 metros cuadrados con su cama con dos postes para que duerman 2 adultos y 2 niños, al igual que la otra habitación llamada Bawa que se inspira en el arquitecto Geoffrey Bawa en un espacio de tamaño similar. La siguiente es la habitación llamada Garden, que también tiene capacidad para 2 adultos y 2 niños mientras está rodeada de una exuberante vegetación en la parte trasera de toda la propiedad. La habitación Lanka se inspira en Sri Lanka con muebles cuidadosamente seleccionados de anticuarios locales y con una cama de tamaño king. Por último, la habitación más pequeña se llama Cosy, con 25 metros cuadrados de espacio y sólo puede alojar a 2 adultos con su propio balcón privado.

La villa está rodeada por un hermoso jardín amurallado de 2 acres de plantas tropicales, frutas y árboles de especias. Los huéspedes pueden pasear tranquilamente por los senderos en medio de este oasis verde, donde también prospera la vida salvaje, y disfrutar de las magníficas vistas del océano Índico y de los arrozales desde su ubicación en la colina. Hay un pabellón de fitness que es una casa-gimnasio al aire libre que consiste en una gama de equipos de fitness y entrenamiento para el uso de los huéspedes, un pabellón de spa y bienestar para tratamientos de masaje y servicios terapéuticos, el Restaurante y Bar Ambalama que sirve el desayuno continental diario y el té de la tarde, así como una zona de meditación y relajación con un pabellón de yoga dedicado.
Los interiores son en su mayoría de las 5 habitaciones que están amuebladas con gusto y estilo con muebles y mobiliario local hecho a mano, puertas dobles de vidrio deslizantes, baños decadentes y contiguos hechos a medida para disfrutar de los tiempos de baño, suelos de baldosas y techos altos que han llegado a definir el maravilloso interior en el que los huéspedes les encantaría pasar el tiempo.

Uno de los primeros lugares cercanos a The Divine Villa es la espectacular playa de Dalawella, a la que se puede llegar cómodamente en tuk tuk o dando un corto paseo. Se trata de una hermosa laguna creada por un arrecife protegido, lo que significa que los huéspedes pueden bañarse sin peligro durante todo el año. También está el extraordinario Fuerte de Galle, patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO, que los huéspedes no querrán perderse.
10/10It is an outstanding accommodation. Very beautiful and stunning views. Lovely clean rooms. Beautifully decorated villa. It is close to the beach with a tuk tuk and we loved the hospitality of the staff and owners. Will surely get back!
10/10A treat in the middle of greenery. Superb location and building history of the Villa. It was really a wonderful place to stay. Food is very tasty, best Chicken Kottu tried in Sri Lanka. Nespresso coffee machine is a plus to wake up with in the morning. Spectacular view, just as the sounds of nature. Would recommend to 💯
10/10Absolutely incredible property with the most lovely staff! The staff helped us with anything we needed and were so kind to us and our baby. We stayed in a villa that was separate to the main house which was perfect for our little family. Oh and the food that the manager made was the best food we had in Sri Lanka! Have the chicken curry for dinner!
10/10The villa is amazing, with a beautiful pool with a view, great staff and delicious food. I felt like a valued guest, who is being taken care of with pleasure. Everything is new, clean and cozy, many small details that create a special atmosphere. Delicious food and good wine. In the bar, tea and coffee from the coffee machine are unlimited and free. The place in the jungle is very picturesque, and only 5 minutes drive to the coast, the staff easily organizes a tuk-tuk. The payment terminal works depending on your mood, it’s better to stock up on cash.

10/10Breakfast was generous with 2 choices: continental and 'local'. We only went for the continental which was very nice: fresh fruits, fresh juice, slice of delicious bread and eggs + sausages. We pretty much liked everything: service, location, view, food...
10/10Magical Holiday We had a magical holiday in Sri Lanka. The dvine Villa is a vison ans a dream that became rwality. The villa is a fantastic peaceful retreat build on a hill with amazing view. Mr. manju and his team assisted in making our stay easy while we were making memories. Absolutely recommended 5 Star! Family van der Laan, the Netherlands.
10/10The Divine villa exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere in this villa was so amazing with the decor and spectacular views, I personally loved the rooms and bathrooms. The service was great and the staff was extremely helpful. The ambience of the pool was amazing and also inclusion of a massage room and a gym was very helpful. Overall I had a perfect stay here and would recommend to everyone!
10/10The villa is stunning from the moment you walk in and see the sweeping views and beautiful pool and relaxing pool area. From there on it only gets better as the staff is very attentive and accommodating (even with a large group like ours), and the interior/ rooms have a lovely mix of being cozy and elegant. Have recommended it to all my friends, and cannot wait to visit again! Excellent for large groups or a family getaway!
10/10For our first trip in Sri Lanka, we could not expect more. The villa is beautiful, the employees are always smiling and friendly. Special recognition to "Doni" the cooker and her incredible seefood. Organization was excellent : Scooter rent, safari trip, Adam's peak excursion and much more. Swimming pool in the middle of the jungle , close to monkeys and Peacock. The place to go, without hesitation.
