Deze 750 m² grote villa combineert koloniale architectuur met een prachtig panoramisch uitzicht vanaf de heuveltop en is gebouwd in een onovertroffen landschap en theeplantage van 5.000 m². Het is eigendom van een Frans echtpaar dat een beroep deed op de architectonische expertise en diensten van de Sri Lankaanse architect Manjula Kalhara de Silva en ingenieur G. Mahesh Nandana. Binnen de voedzame en adembenemende omgeving kunnen gasten kiezen uit een reeks individuele villa's met hun eigen unieke en smaakvolle inrichting en faciliteiten om hun verblijf te boeken, of de hele villa huren voor een uitgebreide grote groep.

Een totaal van 5 prachtige slaapkamers voor een groep van maximaal 18 gasten maken van The Divine Villa een volwaardig vakantieverblijf voor het genot van uitgebreide familieleden, verwanten en vrienden. Alle kamers kunnen individueel worden verhuurd en zijn uiterst privé en luxueus, terwijl gasten ook de keuze hebben om het volledige pand te huren. De eerste kamer heet Infinity en meet 42 vierkante meter met zijn 4-poster bed voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, net als de andere kamer genaamd Bawa die de inspiratie van architect Geoffrey Bawa heeft opgedaan in een vergelijkbare ruimte grootte. De volgende kamer is de Garden, ook geschikt voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, omgeven door weelderig groen aan de achterzijde van het hele pand. De Lanka kamer draagt Sri Lanka inspiratie met zorgvuldig geselecteerde meubelstukken van lokale antiquairs en met een kingsize bed. De kleinste kamer tenslotte heet Cosy met 25 vierkante meter ruimte en biedt plaats aan slechts 2 volwassenen met een eigen balkon.

Een prachtig aangelegde ommuurde tuin van 2 hectare met tropische planten, fruit- en kruidenbomen omringt de villa. Gasten kunnen ontspannen wandelen op de paden temidden van de oase van groen waar ook wilde dieren gedijen, en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op de Indische Oceaan en rijstvelden vanaf hun heuveltop locatie. Er is een fitness paviljoen dat een openlucht fitness huis is bestaande uit een scala aan fitness-en trainingsapparatuur voor het gebruik van de gasten, een spa en wellness paviljoen voor massagebehandelingen en therapeutische diensten, het Ambalama Restaurant & Bar dat dagelijks continentaal ontbijt en 's middags thee serveert, evenals een meditatie-en ontspanningsruimte met een speciale yoga paviljoen.
Het interieur bestaat voornamelijk uit de 5 kamers die smaakvol en stijlvol zijn ingericht met lokale handgemaakte meubels en meubilair, dubbele glazen schuifdeuren, decadente en aangrenzende badkamers op maat om te genieten van een bad, betegelde vloeren en hoge plafonds die zijn gekomen om het prachtige binnen te definiëren waar gasten graag tijd in doorbrengen.

Het toegewijde en gastvrije team van personeel van The Divine Villa biedt gepersonaliseerde diensten voor gasten in en rond het pand. Gasten kunnen vragen om <strong<speciale excursies of vervoer naar historische en beroemde plaatsen voor een aantal sightseeing of tours die kunnen worden geboekt op rekening.
Een van de eerste plekken in de buurt van The Divine Villa is het spectaculaire Dalawella Beach, dat gemakkelijk te bereiken is met een tuk tuk ritje of een korte wandeling. Het is een prachtige lagune die is gevormd door een beschermd rif, waardoor gasten het hele jaar door veilig kunnen zwemmen. Daarnaast is er ook het buitengewone UNESCO-werelderfgoed Galle Fort dat gasten zeker niet willen missen.

10/10A treat in the middle of greenery. Superb location and building history of the Villa. It was really a wonderful place to stay. Food is very tasty, best Chicken Kottu tried in Sri Lanka. Nespresso coffee machine is a plus to wake up with in the morning. Spectacular view, just as the sounds of nature. Would recommend to 💯
10/10Absolutely incredible property with the most lovely staff! The staff helped us with anything we needed and were so kind to us and our baby. We stayed in a villa that was separate to the main house which was perfect for our little family. Oh and the food that the manager made was the best food we had in Sri Lanka! Have the chicken curry for dinner!
10/10The villa is amazing, with a beautiful pool with a view, great staff and delicious food. I felt like a valued guest, who is being taken care of with pleasure. Everything is new, clean and cozy, many small details that create a special atmosphere. Delicious food and good wine. In the bar, tea and coffee from the coffee machine are unlimited and free. The place in the jungle is very picturesque, and only 5 minutes drive to the coast, the staff easily organizes a tuk-tuk. The payment terminal works depending on your mood, it’s better to stock up on cash.

10/10Magical Holiday We had a magical holiday in Sri Lanka. The dvine Villa is a vison ans a dream that became rwality. The villa is a fantastic peaceful retreat build on a hill with amazing view. 10/10The Divine villa exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere in this villa was so amazing with the decor and spectacular views, I personally loved the rooms and bathrooms. The service was great and the staff was extremely helpful. The ambience of the pool was amazing and also inclusion of a massage room and a gym was very helpful. Overall I had a perfect stay here and would recommend to everyone!
10/10The villa is stunning from the moment you walk in and see the sweeping views and beautiful pool and relaxing pool area. From there on it only gets better as the staff is very attentive and accommodating (even with a large group like ours), and the interior/ rooms have a lovely mix of being cozy and elegant. Have recommended it to all my friends, and cannot wait to visit again! Excellent for large groups or a family getaway!
10/10For our first trip in Sri Lanka, we could not expect more. The villa is beautiful, the employees are always smiling and friendly. Special recognition to "Doni" the cooker and her incredible seefood. Organization was excellent : Scooter rent, safari trip, Adam's peak excursion and much more. Swimming pool in the middle of the jungle , close to monkeys and Peacock. The place to go, without hesitation.
