The best feature of Villa Gangananda is undeniably its magnetic infinity pool with stunning views over the grand Madampe lake. The pool is cleaned every day and has different depths for children of varying ages (with the maximum depth of 5'). You and your group of family members and friends can engage in all sorts of activities by the pool. Play in the blue water, sunbathe on the poolside beach chairs or relax in sitting area under the veranda, whilst marveling at the beauty of nature. In the evening, you can have fun organizing a barbecue using the charcoal BBQ equipment provided by the villa!
The Ambalangoda villa's indoor areas are filled with intricate details, from antique windows and doors to white concrete floors and decorative arts objects. The charming living room is where you can have meaningful family gatherings, post-meal conversations and interesting afternoon reads. For your entertainment, a satellite TV, DVD reader, DVD library and even speaker system are available in this room. The joint fully equipped kitchen is where you can cook your own meals or prepare your drinks with high-quality appliances and cookware. The glass-enclosed dining area comes with wooden chairs, long table and calming lighting and overlooks the tropical garden and infinity pool, which makes it the perfect place for you and your family and friends to bond over Sri Lankan cuisine.
El administrador de la villa y el equipo de Villa Gangananda se dedican a hacer que su experiencia en esta villa independiente sea lo más satisfactoria posible. Se encargarán del mantenimiento regular y de la limpieza diaria. No tendrá que ir muy lejos para comer bien, ya que el chef residente puede preparar sus comidas en la cocina de la casa de servicio contigua. Sólo tiene que solicitarlo. Al menos un miembro del equipo pasará la noche en la casa de servicio para ayudarle, así que lo único que tiene que hacer es disfrutar de sus vacaciones de lujo.
Situada cerca de la costa suroccidental y del océano Índico, la villa de lujo ofrece acceso directo al maravilloso lago Madampe y está a sólo 1 km de una serie de solitarias y hermosas playas bordeadas de palmeras. Si necesita hacer alguna compra, sólo tiene que dar un corto paseo hasta el supermercado Nimal Stores y el mercado de los miércoles de Madampagama. El restaurante Sanekvin y el café y bar Chill Pill también están a un paseo. Recomendamos explorar la cercana ciudad de Ambalangoda, cuna de las antigüedades, y visitar sus talleres de máscaras tradicionales y tiendas de antigüedades. También se puede ir en tuk-tuk en 15 minutos a lugares de interés de la región, como la estación de ferrocarril de Hikkaduwa y el templo de Seenigama, o apuntarse a excursiones por la naturaleza al santuario de aves de Telwatta, al criadero de tortugas de Kosgoda y al arrecife de coral de Hikkaduwa para conocer la biodiversidad local.
10/10Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la villa Gangananda. La villa est super bien située au calme avec un vue incroyable, à 10mn d'une superbe plage accessible à pieds. Villa spacieuse , très confortable, superbe piscine (entrée dans la piscine en sol glissant). Sampath notre concierge, nous à très bien accueilli et a toujours été au petit soin pour nous tout au long du séjour (conseils, réservations, tuk-tuk, van et autres services ...). Le personnel était discret toujours à notre service; les repas très bons, variés et copieux. Bref ! UN FORMIDABLE SEJOUR !
10/10we enjoyed a fantastic week at this beautiful villa, looked after with discreet and professional care from the team on site. the stylish rooms are clean, comfortable and well-equipped, the indoor and outdoor sitting areas were a pleasure. The pool is just right and the garden with its views, relaxing and fascinating. The neighbourhood is not at all touristy, there are many fine walks, the beach is close and the amenities of the town also. The breakfast and dinners were wonderful and there are nearby restaurants to explore.
10/10We stayed for 5 nights at Villa Gangananda, a very comfortable villa situated at a beautiful spot on the (large) Madampe lake. We particularly enjoyed taking the villa's stand-up paddle and canoes out in the early mornings and evenings when you can see lots of wildlife (such as the monitor lizard, sea eagle), and the lake is often flat like a mirror. One great thing about the villa's swimming pool is that it is shaded in the afternoon, so it is perfect for watching sunsets while taking a cool drink (you can order from the house's menu and the staff will them fresh). In the evening we had dinner at the villa, made by the resident cook, which was very nice, not to mention very convenient. There are three staff members who live on the property in a separate house, and they were most helpful and discrete. The villa manager Sampath comes around every morning to check if things are OK and offered great help with our excursions. The villa is a short ride away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the south. We also booked a boat tour on the lake (the boat belongs to the villa) one morning, which was great. I had two massages by a very professional masseur who came to the villa, and I can definitely recommend him. All in all Gangananda is a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy beautiful nature while being pampered. We loved it.
10/10Myself my friends had the most perfect time at the villa for Christmas. Sampath and the boys who work there are exceptional. The villa is beautiful and the food was gorgeous. We are so happy we chose this villa to spend our holidays. Thank you to those working there you made it a great Christmas for us
