Possessing a contemporary design with antique furniture, the deluxe villa effortlessly combines glamour, heritage and comfort. The villa can accommodate up to six guests with three charming air-conditioned bedrooms with attached bathrooms, poster beds, quality bedding, wardrobes and baby crib (on request). After a long day in the tropical weather, take a shower in the gorgeous indoor and outdoor ensuites that come with each master bedroom and then rest in the soft king-size beds (one of which can be split into two single beds). The third bedroom provides two large single beds (which can be kept separated or combined) and a lovely indoor bathroom for your pleasant stay.

The best feature of Villa Gangananda is undeniably its magnetic infinity pool with stunning views over the grand Madampe lake. The pool is cleaned every day and has different depths for children of varying ages (with the maximum depth of 5’). You and your group of family members and friends can engage in all sorts of activities by the pool. Play in the blue water, sunbathe on the poolside beach chairs or relax in sitting area under the veranda, whilst marveling at the beauty of nature. In the evening, you can have fun organizing a barbecue using the charcoal BBQ equipment provided by the villa!
The Ambalangoda villa’s indoor areas are filled with intricate details, from antique windows and doors to white concrete floors and decorative arts objects. The charming living room is where you can have meaningful family gatherings, post-meal conversations and interesting afternoon reads. For your entertainment, a satellite TV, DVD reader, DVD library and even speaker system are available in this room. The joint fully equipped kitchen is where you can cook your own meals or prepare your drinks with high-quality appliances and cookware. The glass-enclosed dining area comes with wooden chairs, long table and calming lighting and overlooks the tropical garden and infinity pool, which makes it the perfect place for you and your family and friends to bond over Sri Lankan cuisine.
The villa manager and team of Villa Gangananda are dedicated to making your experience at this self-contained villa as satisfactory as possible. They will ensure regular maintenance and daily housekeeping for you. You will not need to travel far for good food, as the resident chef can prepare your meals in the kitchen of the adjoining service house. Simply make a request! The manager and staff are happy to answer your questions and help with your needs, from arranging transportation for your local trips to booking massages and giving recommendations on local activities to join! At least one member of the team will stay overnight in the service house to assist you, so all you have to do is to enjoy your luxury vacation!
Situated near the South Western coast and the Indian Ocean, the deluxe villa offers direct access to the marvelous Madampe lake and is just 1 km away from a number of secluded and beautiful palm-fringed beaches. If you need to do any shopping, simply take a short walk to Nimal Stores Supermarket and Madampagama Wednesday Market. Sanekvin Restaurant and Chill Pill Cafe and Bar are within walking distance as well. We recommend exploring the nearby Ambalangoda Town - the home of antiques - and visiting its traditional mask workshops and antique shops. You can also take a 15-minute tuk-tuk drive to popular attractions in the region such as Hikkaduwa Railway Station and Seenigama Temple or register for wildlife and nature tours to Telwatta Bird Sanctuary, Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and Hikkaduwa Coral Reef to learn about the local biodiversity.
