Villa Samudra Beach is a newly built villa in a classic colonial style and “Samudra” being the word for the ocean in the local Sinhalese language the aptly named villa boasts a stunning view of the glorious Indian Ocean.
Strategically located on the breathtaking mile-long Koggala beach, world famous for its nighty visits from sea-turtles who come onshore to lay their eggs, guests at Villa Samudra Beach would have direct access to this magical beach.
The large open living space at Villa Samudra Beach is the perfect place to lay back and relax on large comfy couches while delighting in an unobstructed view of the explosion of colour that are the sunsets in the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The dining area which is separate from the main building allows guests to savouring your meals while enjoying a view of the ocean.
Outdoor & Pool Area
With an infinity pool overlooking a large manicured lawn dotted with coconut trees, one might even miss the ocean that is just a few steps in front of the pool.
The Master bedroom(s)
The two tastefully decorated main bedrooms with their king sized four-poster with mosquito net canopies may even deter the weary traveler from stepping out to savour the direct view of the ocean right outside their rooms.
Both rooms are equipped with a large ensuite bathroom with shower and for those who are not used to the tropical weather in Sri Lanka, there is also air conditioning and overhead fans.
A third single bedroom is available on request.

With high speed internet, DVD player and satellite television for the well-connected traveler, Villa Samudra Beach also conveniently has an iPod dock, speaker and board games available for those who prefer a quieter time to unwind and disconnect from the outside world.
The fully staffed Villa Samudra Beach has a chef, houseman, night watchman and a gardener/ pool boy to attend to your every need. A laundry lady may also be available on request.
Villa Samudra Beach provides the perfect location for a private beach getaway with easy access to many sight-seeing opportunities including the UNESCO world heritage site of Galle Fort, a sea-turtle hatcheries in Kosgoda and Koggala, boat rides on the Koggala lagoon and snorkeling in the Unawatuna bay all just a few kilometers away.
