All three bedroom suites at the Stow House have ocean views with large timber pivoting doors opening on to a private terrace. The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom, while the two other bedrooms have to shared bathroom.

The landscaped gardens surrounding the Stow House leads down to the pool at the bottom of the small hillock on which it is built. The 15m pool nestled at the bottom of the garden has an infinity edge matching the ocean horizon.
Stow house has been especially designed to encourage its visitors to take in the beauty of its surrounding landscape. The spacious living area at the heart of the Stow House completely opens out to the garden with a view of the ocean. The living and dining are all located in one open space and for those who would like to cook there is also a small gallery kitchen in the same area. Guests also have the option of eating alfresco with a dining area in the garden equipped with a barbeque stand.
The villa’s efficient in-house team ensures a warm and seamless stay, delivering impeccable hospitality with genuine Sri Lankan charm. Guests are looked after by a dedicated staff that includes a manager, a gardener, and two housekeepers who also double as skilled cooks. Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, they prepare delicious meals that showcase the authentic flavours of Sri Lanka. A complimentary welcome drink awaits each guest upon arrival.
The villa’s expansive garden gently stretches down to the shoreline, offering a peaceful path for a morning stroll or quiet moments with nature. While it’s a serene and private spot to unwind, we kindly advise against swimming, as the sea can be rough.
The Stow house is ideally located to travel to the tourist hub of Galle or the National Wildlife parks at Yala or Udawalawe, all are just a few hours away. Closer to the villa, guests can see one of the world’s tallest blowholes, called “Hoo Maniya”. And just across the bay, they will find the Turtle Conservation Project in Rekawa and whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa.
