Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Villa Maliga Kanda is a 7-bedroom private villa, characterized by its minimalistic yet colonial exteriors, thatched roofs and luscious trees around its perimeters. 3 separate pavilions complete the setting. The setting is complete with four-poster, king-sized beddings, white-chiffon drapery, a 18 meter-long private swimming pool, 24-hour security and housekeeping services. The stone decking around the pool allow guests to lay under the sun on a bright orange sunlounger or underneath the shady pavilion. Prep yourself to embrace poolside dining and the in-house gym facilities during your stay!
The villa’s 7 bedrooms feature their own en-suite bathrooms: two of which nestle twin singles whilst the other five boast four-poster king-sized bedding. The white-chiffon drapery is identical within all of the suites alongside its stone-built bathrooms. The suites are complemented with fresh florals, satellite television, and air-conditioning to cool the hottest tropical days. The floor-to-ceiling wooden panels act as a enclosure - guests wanting to sleep-in will note that this can help block out the early morning sun!
The ensuite bathrooms are immaculate to say the least - all boasting stone-built rustic ambiance. Each bathroom features twin vanities, oversized mirrors, sunken baths, and rainshower facilities.
Enjoy a plunge in the villa’s sprawling private pool, under the clear blue sky. Along the infinity-edged pool side, Villa Maliga Kanda boasts 180-degree panoramic scenes of lush mountainous forestry. Furnished with an orange sunlounger and a shady alfresco pavilion, poolside lounging under the bright sun of Sri Lanka would be a breeze! Surrounding the property, a wide-paved driveway is nestled amidst the luscious greens, vibrant flowers, and tall bustling trees.
With multiple living spaces, your stay at this multi-pavilion island haven is bound to be well-facilitated. Two indoor living spaces can be found located on the ground floor, of the main pavilion. Enclosed amidst floor-to-ceiling wooden doors, guests are welcomed to an inclusive space. Its interiors is an aesthetically-pleasing melting pot - where chunky plush sofas lie beside local hieroglyphic art and roughly-hewn stone walls.
Villa Maliga Kanda’s full-set of help is ready upon request – including your own daily housekeeping staff, private chef, pool attendants, gardeners and villa security. Guests are able to request babysitting services, car rental and chauffeur services, or perhaps a well-deserved massage! Laundry facilities, boat rentals and airport pick-ups can be easily arranged.
Take an afternoon stroll out to enjoy to the glowing coasts of Koggala Beach or perhaps, lay on the shores of Midigama Beach to watch the golden sunsets. Spoil your senses at Amangalla by splurging on their spas and full-body massages. Grab an ice cold beer at Koko’s On The Beach and some sweets at Dairy King. Dine for authentic Sri Lankan food at Dimali Inn, a home-cooked and casual stopover for local delicacies.
A gentle reminder and recommendation to embrace the villa’s neighbouring mountains - and hike up the Rumassala Mountain. You’ll be blessed to witness the stunning sunsets of Galle and Mirissa Harbour.
Lin and I had an exceptional holiday at Lassana Kanda. The accommodation was first class, and the service and attention to our needs was second to none. The overall experience was one Lin and I will never forget and I highly recommend Lassana Kanda to anyone looking to visit Sri Lanka as a base to explore the nearby area. Of exceptional note was the fantastic cuisine where we were surprised with mouth watering meals morning, noon and night. This coupled with the luxurious accommodation made this break a real treat.
We spent a fantastic week at the villa. The staff are fantastic, the pool and views from the villa are unbeatable and Sharluka's cooking rivals the best I have had in London. I highly recommend the villa and look forward to going back there myself!
