In der Ruhe und Üppigkeit der bewaldeten Wälder in der Nähe von Unawatuna und Galle, in der südlichen Westprovinz Sri Lankas, befindet sich das Juwel einer luxuriösen Boutique-Villa, bekannt als The Divine Villa. Das 750 Quadratmeter große Anwesen bietet einen herrlichen Panoramablick von der Spitze eines Hügels aus. Es ist im Kolonialstil erbaut und liegt inmitten einer unvergleichlichen Landschaft und Teeplantage, die sich über 5.000 Quadratmeter erstreckt. Es gehört einem französischen Ehepaar, das die architektonische Expertise und die Dienste der srilankischen Architektin Manjula Kalhara de Silva und des Ingenieurs G. Mahesh Nandana in Anspruch nahm. Insgesamt 6 wunderschöne Schlafzimmer für eine Gruppe von maximal 15 Gästen machen The Divine Villa zu einem vollwertigen Urlaubsdomizil für den Genuss von Großfamilienmitgliedern, Verwandten und Freunden. Alle Zimmer sind äußerst privat und luxuriös. Das erste Zimmer heißt Infinity und ist mit seinem Himmelbett 42 Quadratmeter groß, ebenso wie das andere Zimmer namens Bawa, das von dem Architekten Geoffrey Bawa inspiriert wurde und eine ähnliche Größe hat. Als nächstes folgt das Zimmer Garden, das von üppigem Grün auf der Rückseite des gesamten Anwesens umgeben ist. Das Lanka-Zimmer ist von Sri Lanka inspiriert und verfügt über sorgfältig ausgewählte Möbelstücke von örtlichen Antiquitätenhändlern und ein Kingsize-Bett. Das kleinste Zimmer heißt Cosy, ist 25 Quadratmeter groß, bietet Platz für 2 Erwachsene und verfügt über einen eigenen Balkon. Die neueste Ergänzung der Villa ist der Pavillon, der mit einem Kingsize-Bett und einem Einzelbett ausgestattet ist und somit für bis zu drei Gäste geeignet ist. Die doppelten Schiebefenster bieten einen direkten Zugang zum Garten, während die Veranda einen herrlichen Blick auf die umliegenden Reisfelder und das Meer bietet.

Ein wunderschön angelegter, ummauerter Garten von 2 Hektar mit tropischen Pflanzen, Früchten und Gewürzbäumen umgibt die Villa. Die Gäste können gemütliche Spaziergänge auf Pfaden inmitten der grünen Oase unternehmen, in der auch Wildtiere gedeihen, und von ihrer Lage auf dem Hügel aus die herrliche Aussicht auf den Indischen Ozean und die Reisfelder genießen. Es gibt einen Fitness-Pavillon, ein Fitnessstudio im Freien mit einer Reihe von Fitness- und Trainingsgeräten, die den Gästen zur Verfügung stehen, einen Spa- und Wellness-Pavillon für Massagebehandlungen und therapeutische Dienstleistungen, das Ambalama Restaurant & Bar, in dem täglich ein kontinentales Frühstück und Nachmittagstee serviert wird, sowie einen Meditations- und Entspannungsbereich mit einem eigenen Yoga-Pavillon.
Die Innenräume sind geschmackvoll und stilvoll eingerichtet mit handgefertigten Möbeln und Einrichtungsgegenständen aus der Region, doppelten Glasschiebetüren, dekadenten und angrenzenden, maßgeschneiderten Badezimmern, die zum Baden einladen, gefliesten Fußböden und hohen Decken, die die wundervollen Innenräume definieren, in denen die Gäste gerne Zeit verbringen würden.

Das engagierte und gastfreundliche Team des The Divine Villa bietet einen persönlichen Service für die Gäste in und um das Haus. Die Gäste können <strong<Sonderausflüge oder Transport zu historischen und berühmten Stätten für einige Besichtigungen oder Touren, die im Namen gebucht werden können, anfordern.
Einer der ersten Orte in der Nähe von The Divine Villa ist der spektakuläre Dalawella Beach, den man bequem mit dem Tuk Tuk oder zu Fuß erreichen kann. Es handelt sich um eine wunderschöne Lagune, die durch ein geschütztes Riff entstanden ist, so dass die Gäste das ganze Jahr über sicher schwimmen gehen können. Darüber hinaus gibt es auch das außergewöhnliche UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe Galle Fort, das sich die Gäste sicher nicht entgehen lassen wollen.

10/10The villa is amazing, with a beautiful pool with a view, great staff and delicious food. I felt like a valued guest, who is being taken care of with pleasure. Everything is new, clean and cozy, many small details that create a special atmosphere. Delicious food and good wine. In the bar, tea and coffee from the coffee machine are unlimited and free. The place in the jungle is very picturesque, and only 5 minutes drive to the coast, the staff easily organizes a tuk-tuk. The payment terminal works depending on your mood, it’s better to stock up on cash.

10/10Absolutely incredible property with the most lovely staff! The staff helped us with anything we needed and were so kind to us and our baby. We stayed in a villa that was separate to the main house which was perfect for our little family. Oh and the food that the manager made was the best food we had in Sri Lanka! Have the chicken curry for dinner!

10/10The Divine villa exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere in this villa was so amazing with the decor and spectacular views, I personally loved the rooms and bathrooms. The service was great and the staff was extremely helpful. The ambience of the pool was amazing and also inclusion of a massage room and a gym was very helpful. Overall I had a perfect stay here and would recommend to everyone!
10/10For our first trip in Sri Lanka, we could not expect more. The villa is beautiful, the employees are always smiling and friendly. Special recognition to "Doni" the cooker and her incredible seefood. Organization was excellent : Scooter rent, safari trip, Adam's peak excursion and much more. Swimming pool in the middle of the jungle , close to monkeys and Peacock. The place to go, without hesitation.
10/10The villa is stunning from the moment you walk in and see the sweeping views and beautiful pool and relaxing pool area. From there on it only gets better as the staff is very attentive and accommodating (even with a large group like ours), and the interior/ rooms have a lovely mix of being cozy and elegant. Have recommended it to all my friends, and cannot wait to visit again! Excellent for large groups or a family getaway!
