10/10What can I say? The days at the accommodation were perfect. My wife and I have traveled through 74 countries and stayed in some top class Airbnbs, this was the best so far because the overall package was right. Quiet and private location, super well maintained, the pool was bigger than it looked in the photos, the location was perfect between Midigama and Ahangama, everything was within a few minutes reach. Our children more than enjoyed the large garden to play in. But now we come to the absolute highlight, which made us feel like home. Special thanks goes to the chef Prabod, who provided us with delicious food every day and read every wish from our lips. We would also like to thank Shantha and Nishante, who looked after our safety, the cleaning and the garden. All three of them took great care of our children and were always ready to have fun. Thanks to you three, we have taken Sri Lanka to our hearts and have made friends on the other side of the world. Thank you guys.

10/10We had the most incredible stay at Lace House! The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous—spacious, beautifully designed, and right by the sea. One of our favorite parts was being able to climb down the rocks straight into the ocean. It truly doesn’t get better than that, especially for a surf trip! A huge shoutout to the wonderful team on site—Udaya, the manager, was warm and welcoming, and always ready to help. And special thanks to Praboda , the chef, who really went above and beyond. He graciously prepared a crab dinner for us on our first night, and it was hands-down one of the best meals we’ve had. The food throughout our stay was fabulous—fresh, flavorful, and served with such care. Thank you, Katy, for hosting us in such a magical place.

10/10Lace House is absolutely beautiful. We had the most wonderful time there! The pictures don’t do it justice - it’s just absolutely perfect! The interior, the garden, the furniture, bathrooms, kitchen, just outstanding. As is the staff - Pranod and Shantah were absolutely amazing. They were always there when we needed them but also left us all the privacy we needed. And the meals they cooked were just delicious! There’s a cute little town nearby but we didn’t want to leave the house, as we just felt at home right away. It’s utterly peaceful and simply perfect. Would come back any time! 10/10Such a beautiful place !! Nicely decorated and very clean .. We really enjoyed our stay .. The staff are amazing, very helpful and responsive. The photos don't do the place any justice it's much more beautiful and the sound of the waves was really peaceful. The common living area does not have an AC but that was not much of an issue as the weather was nice. Definitely recommended !!

It goes without saying that the Villa and grounds were beautiful, but honestly we weren’t expecting every last little detail to be so utterly flawless. After ten days of travelling across Sri Lanka in less luxurious accommodation, we were so grateful to be spending our last few days in this perfect little haven before heading home. Without doubt, the highlight were the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, no request was too much trouble. They managed to get the perfect balance between being incredibly attentive while fully respecting our privacy (something we struggled with a bit in other accommodation). And the meals they cooked for us were unbelievable! Honestly some of the best food we experienced in the country. If you’re looking for a beautiful tranquil space to make incredible memories with your friends and family, book Lace House! You won’t regret it! 🥰

But the true gem of this villa was the incredible staff. Every one of them, from the amazing four-person team to the talented Chef Proboda, treated us like family. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel instantly at home. Chef Proboda is truly a culinary artist – his dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I wouldn't be surprised if he earns a Michelin star someday! The villa's proactive approach to fulfilling our wishes was another highlight.
