Villa South Point Ocean is een ruime villa aan het strand in Ahangama, ontworpen voor een ontspannen verblijf met een groep, waarbij het uitzicht op de oceaan een vast onderdeel vormt van het dagelijkse ritme. Het is een klassieke, goed onderhouden villa aan de kust, met brede balkons, open gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en een lang zwembad op het gazon, zodat iedereen de ruimte heeft zonder dat het gevoel van ‘samen op vakantie zijn’ verloren gaat. De dagen verlopen hier vaak volgens hetzelfde patroon: zwemmen voor het ontbijt, luie lunches in de schaduw en daarna een drankje bij zonsondergang met de zee net achter de tuin.

Villa South Point Ocean beschikt over 11 slaapkamers met airconditioning, die stuk voor stuk zijn ingericht met het oog op comfort, met een romantisch hemelbed dat is voorzien van een klamboe. Verschillende kamers komen uit op een eigen balkon met tuinstoelen, ideaal voor een rustig kopje koffie terwijl de rest van het huis nog aan het ontwaken is.
De badkamers zijn en-suite en praktisch ingericht, met inloopdouches, ruime wastafels en een eenvoudige afwerking die perfect past bij zanderige voeten en stranddagen. Met zoveel kamers verspreid over de villa is het eenvoudig om stellen, vrienden en familieleden zo in te delen dat iedereen naast de groepsvakantie ook wat privacy geniet.

De tuin vormt het middelpunt van de villa: een lang zwembad midden in een keurig gazon, met ligstoelen die klaarstaan voor heerlijke dagen aan het zwembad. Achter het gazon grenst het terrein direct aan de kust, waardoor je altijd het geluid van de golven en de zeewind hoort – vooral prachtig tijdens het gouden uur.
Een schaduwrijk paviljoen biedt een extra plek om samen te komen, uit de zon, terwijl de brede strandrand perfect is voor rustige wandelingen en ontspannen avonden. Dit is buitenleven dat geschikt is voor groepen: ruimte om te spelen, ruimte om even tot rust te komen, en ruimte waar iedereen zich op zijn gemak voelt.
Binnen ademt de villa een open en gezellige sfeer uit: een ruime woonlounge met volop zitplaatsen loopt naadloos over naar het terras en het zwembad. De lange eettafel is gemaakt voor gezamenlijke maaltijden, uitgebreide ontbijtbuffetten, diners met zeevruchten en van die gesprekken die tot laat doorgaan, zonder dat iemand het gezelschap ergens anders heen hoeft te verplaatsen.
Er is ook een bar met krukken, een handige plek voor koffie in de ochtend, een drankje bij zonsondergang of gewoon om de kok gezelschap te houden terwijl de plannen vorm krijgen. Dankzij de grote ramen en deuren overal in het huis blijft het uitzicht altijd zichtbaar, zodat zelfs momenten van ontspanning binnenshuis nog steeds aanvoelen als tijd op het strand.
Tijdens uw verblijf kunt u rekenen op een toegewijd villateam ter plaatse, dat ervoor zorgt dat alles soepel verloopt, zodat de groep zich volledig op de vakantie kan concentreren. U kunt rekenen op zorgvuldig verzorgde dagelijkse gemakken: nette gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, fris opgeruimde slaapkamers en een rustige, onopvallende aanwezigheid die perfect past bij zowel gezinnen als vrienden die samen reizen.

Ahangama is niet voor niets een favoriet stukje van de zuidkust van Sri Lanka: surfspots, gezellig uit eten gaan en een ontspannen sfeer die zowel bij gezinnen als bij vrienden in de smaak valt. Als je zin hebt in een café-tour of even van omgeving wilt veranderen, ben je vlak bij de bekendste ontmoetingsplekken in Ahangama en de naburige badplaatsen.
Plan een korte rit langs de kust naar het fort van Galle voor geschiedenis, boetiekjes en wandelingen over de vestingmuren bij zonsondergang – een ontspannen uitstapje van een halve dag dat een heel ander gevoel geeft dan een dagje strand. Terug bij Villa South Point Ocean is het beste plan vaak het eenvoudigste: strand, zwembad, en dat steeds weer opnieuw.

10/10We hosted our 30 person wedding here and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. They were amazing. The venue is stunning, so beautiful to be right on the beach. All meals provided were delicious. All my guests were amazed by the service. I would definitely recommend large groups to stay here. We had the best time. Thank you to the team 🙏

The villa itself has a charming, laid-back vibe—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. 10/10Excellent location right on the beach. Pool was great - it’s a bit deep so need to be aware. Breakfast was super tasty. Food delivery on Ubereats but takes some time. Villa staff are excellent and always available to help. We had a speaker rented and were able to play our music. Great views from the various parts of the house. Kids had a ton of fun. We were a large group and the Villa team and Sonali did an amazing job at handling everyone. Easy choice if you are looking for a beautiful home with beach access, good service and close to all attractions in the area.

10/10The house was beautiful, the ocean was absolutely stunning and we had a lovely time. Sonali was very helpful and communicative, and the main staff at the villa (shoutout to Nilushi, the boys, the chef and Anil!) couldn’t do enough for us - and we weren’t the easiest bunch - 13 guests with lots of dietary requirements, vegan, pescatarians etc!) so thanks very much we had a great holiday there.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The beach front is also private and calm. Food was good and well served. One of us got in a little accident as well and the staff and owner were very helpful and cooperative to find what we needed. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Galle.

10/10We stayed in this beautiful villa to celebrate my Father's 80th birthday and we were 16 people of a variety of ages from small children up to senior citizens. The villa is well equipped with a large dining table so we could all eat together and there was a very large pool too. Location is great, right on the beach which was empty most of the time so it felt like it was our private beach. The staff were wonderful and took great care of us and the food was excellent - overall it was everything we had hoped for and more

10/10We have just spent a wonderful week at this stunning villa with our family. The staff were attentive and unobtrusive providing us with an immaculate and comfortable stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they kept the Villa immaculate and made us feel were welcome and pampered. The Sri Lankan food was delicious and the chef was excellent, happy to suggest and cooked us some amazing fish, curries and a wonderful bbq. We all enjoyed the egg hoppers and dahl and were happy to listen to his suggestions. Some of our party enjoyed learning how to cook some of the curries in his kitchen. The Villa is in a good location to Galle and nearby beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed massages and yoga classes near the beach.

10/10We had the most memorable family holiday in Srilanka. We were a family of 19 people and were most comfortably accommodated in South Point and Ocean Villa. The rooms are very well appointed and all the seven rooms in South Point Ocean face the pool and the sea. The staff is very polite and extremely helpful. The food was very good the chef and his team did an excellent job, making sure everyone's preferences were catered too. The tables were beautifully laid, and one evening they served us dinner on the lawn. There is a natural cove and a beach there which makes it very private and lovely. An early morning walk along the beach and a swim before breakfast is great. The management also arranges cars and vans for trips to Galle or the places of interest nearby. All in all its a great holiday place.
