You have to get used to the fact that there are always staff there, but they can anticipate your every need. We had asked about sand toys for the kids or where we could buy something like that and the next day it was there. The food is also very tasty and definitely a must!

Superb villa. Inside and outside, all amenities were provided to a great standard. Wonderful group of staff on hand. Terrific team available (unexpected bonus). Housekeeping manager, assistant, and chef. Thank you to Rohan, Thanushka, and chef for making us feel so welcome, safe, comfortable and well fed. We had the best four day stay in this blissful location.

We were delighted with our entire experience of Taru Villas 906. Located in Hikkaduwa and less than 20-minutes' drive from Galle, the compact villa comprises of two rooms, spacious patio, beach garden, plunge pool, kitchenette and living room. Private and peaceful, it is the ideal spot for young families or couples. As with all Taru Villas properties, 906 is tastefully designed with every detail looked into and meticulously maintained. The villa has direct access to the beach, which was rather secluded. There is free wi-fi, accessible both indoors and outside. The team taking reservations and at the villa are helpful, courteous and obliging, without being intrusive. There seemed to be nothing the chef couldn’t prepare! The food was simply excellent – we had fresh seafood, Sri Lankan cuisine, Continental dishes and even cake for tea! We highly recommend 906 for a slice of paradise.

I stayed at Taru Villas during 23 to 28 December 2015 with my wife and 2 boys and my wife's parents. The place is superbly located and has excellent services with in-villa staff very helpful and courteous. The management of the villa made us feel at home with special treatment on Christmas day with traditional Sinhalese milk-rice and other offerings. There was a night of storm on Christmas day; but other than that it was a delightful holiday. Highly recommended for family holidays - if you can book the two rooms in the Villa and keep the villa all for yourself without having to share it with strangers that will be the ideal option.

I made my reservation online and by phone prior to my visit to Sri Lanka. I was provided assistance Ms. Yapa who made everything easy and helped with finding accommodation for my driver. Finding 906 was a little hard (weird house numbers) but with a quick phone call managed to find the place. The house and décor is fabulous and the staff was just amazing ! I had the house to myself (one room for my father and the other for my partner and I), and at all times felt I was given the right amount of privacy while knowing at the slightest call the staff would be there to help me. Sanjeewa is an amazing cook and his assistant (I think his name is Mahesh, sorry I should have written these down) was a great server. It was almost like a Downton Abbey meal with someone making sure your napkin was on your lap, the flowers and candles lit and your wine glass full. The beach in front of the property is desolate (since this is really not thankfully Hikaduwa!), but not the best for swimming. Walk up a little on the right and the beach becomes more swimmable. There are several lounge chairs in the front to just laze around (OK, one little issue can we cut the coconuts above the lounge chairs, one fell close to me and freaked me out). The little pool in front is ideal to dip in after the beach. The staff was extremely trustworthy and I didn't feel like I had to be putting stuff away everytime I left the house. The rooms have a safe. Again, I would definitely recommend this place if you want to get away from the crowds of a hotel and get some personal pampering. Please keep up the great work !

The villa was ideal for are family of four.the place was awesome and peaceful after our hectic schedule.The caretaker Mr.Damit was very courteous and helpful.the chef sanjive and his assistance would make us those wonderful meals.which we enjoyed a lot.nice srilankan menu was prepared..overall a pleasant stay.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful 7 nights at 906 Taru Villas. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and attentive. The villa itself is located on the beach front with direct access, a beautiful plunge pool and very well maintained beach garden. The decor of the villa is well thought out and makes for a very relaxing environment, the rooms are spacious and very clean. We had no need to eat out as the chef was superb, making dishes both from the available menu but also discussing our likes and dislikes and making off menu items. I personally spent 2 nights cooking with him to try learn some Sri Lankan dishes, the food was very tasty and delicious. We ate mostly fish which was very fresh and suited the location but also tried the other items on the menu (the Fully Loaded Hamburger was yum!). The staff were friendly and always looking to help. Everything was arranged when needed, including a day trip to Galle. Also having free wi-fi was an added bonus. This villa comes highly recommended and I am sure you will have an amazing stay.
