10/10Super cosy family-friendly villa Down a tea plantation-lined drive, Kumbura was magical from the start. The house felt like a home away from home – very cosy, the type of place you can just curl up on a sofa and relax. The staff – particularly Manjula - were absolutely lovely, so smiley! Fantastic pool overlooking the rice paddy fields – plus the pool is in the middle of the villa so great for keeping an eye on little ones. Would love to go back.
10/10The property is exactly as described and is beautiful! I can not fault how clean and well kept it is, and how well it worked for us as a family. We felt at home as soon as we walked in and just all the little touches really made a difference in making our stay wonderful. The villa is situated in the most amazing, natural environment. obviously that comes with the odd bit of wildlife in the garden but this actually added to the enjoyment of my two daughters. Nothing beat chilling in the pool, watching the birds, squirrels and monkeys. The location is a bit further out than we realized and being a family that likes to go out and about a lot, at the drop of a hat, having to rely on taxis and tuk-tuks took a bit of getting used to. However, it is so easy to get transport, it didn't affect our enjoyment, at all. There is so much to do in the vicinity, of the villa so a great location for families with children, as well as adults. And lastly, the true gem of this villa, the staff were a true credit and lovely people they could not have been more helpful. Depending on your preference, they can be at hand as much or as little as you require, and this really worked for us. They really made our holiday. I can honestly say that our holiday was one of the best I have ever been on, and this villa was a big part of that. I can not recommend enough!

10/10What a find! So sad to have to leave such an amazing place. The staff made us feel so welcome. Was a pleasure to wake up every morning and to experience the nature surrounding us, with the amazing breakfast by the infinity pool. Was glad there was a generator in the the odd moments that it was needed. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone.
10/10The villa is absolutely gorgeous. The pool and outdoor spaces with an expansive view of the paddy fields was exceptional. The chef, Manjula, and all of the staff at the villa are wonderful and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of!
