10/10Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni in questo alloggio. e ci è piaciuto molto, perché non è puramente turistico, ma anche una zona residenziale. la vista direttamente sulla spiaggia e le barche da pesca erano meravigliose. ogni giorno è stata portata la colazione fresca dello Sri Lanka (che era sufficiente anche per il pranzo) e brevemente pulita. sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili. possiamo sicuramente raccomandarlo.

10/10we spent 5 days in this accommodation. and liked something very much, because it is not purely tourist but also a residential area. the view directly on the beach and the fishing boats were wonderful. every day fresh Sri Lankan breakfast was brought (which was also sufficient for lunch) and briefly cleaned. they were very friendly and helpful. we can definitely recommend it.

Se, come noi, siete lontani dai turisti e vi sentite a vostro agio in mezzo alla gente del posto e ai pescatori, questo è il posto giusto. Per noi sono stati giorni bellissimi e rilassanti. Possiamo raccomandare questa casa di pescatori al 100%.
10/10La casa dei superospiti Janah e Kian è sempre la migliore. Quando venite a Trincomalee, soggiornerete sempre da loro. Questa è una delle loro case adiacenti. Da quando abbiamo ristrutturato la casa dei pescatori proprio di fronte alla spiaggia di Dutch Bay, ha un mix di stile locale e occidentale proprio come nelle foto. Kasthuri è il miglior gestore che accoglie sempre con un bel sorriso e soddisfa sempre le esigenze dei suoi ospiti. La camera da letto e il bagno sono puliti e la porta dà accesso diretto alla spiaggia, quindi è un posto molto adatto per una coppia che vuole rilassarsi. Sdraiatevi su un lettino all'ombra di un albero e sentite il cielo, le onde e la brezza. Con un forte profumo di caffè espresso... è un paradiso dove tutti i desideri e le preoccupazioni scompaiono. È vicino a una grande quantità di informazioni locali e di ristoranti nelle vicinanze. L'alloggio viene mantenuto pulito ogni giorno, e si può cucinare con una deliziosa colazione (si può scegliere tra cibo in stile Lanka e occidentale) e utensili da cucina ben attrezzati, che aumentano la soddisfazione dei viaggiatori. Ogni mattina la gente del posto pulisce la spiaggia e il ritorno dei pescatori di prima mattina è un'altra esperienza dello Sri Lanka. Rispondete ai sorrisi luminosi delle persone che incontrate nel vicolo. La gioia di viaggiare si aggiungerà. Se lo scegliete, ve lo consiglio vivamente come il miglior posto dove soggiornare a Trincomalee, dove la felicità arriverà.
10/10Superhosts Janah and Kian couple's place is always the best. When you come to Trincomalee, you will always stay at their place. This is one of their homes adjacent to it. Since we remodeled the fisherman's house right in front of the Dutch Bay beach, it has a mix of local and Western style just like the pictures. Always welcoming you with a nice smile, Kasthuri is the best manager who always accommodates the needs of his guests. Clean bedroom, bathroom and the door gives you direct access to the beach, so this is a very suitable place for a couple to come and relax. Lie on a sun bed under the shade of a tree and feel the sky, waves, and breeze. With a strong espresso scent... it's a paradise where all desires and worries disappear. It's close to a wealth of local information and nearby restaurants. It keeps the accommodation clean every day, and you can cook with a delicious breakfast (you can choose from Lanka-style and Western food) and well-equipped kitchen utensils, which increases the satisfaction of travelers. Every morning, locals clean the beach, and the early morning fishermen come back is another Sri Lanka experience. Respond to the bright smiles of the people you meet in the alley. The joy of traveling will be added. If you choose, I highly recommend it as the best place to stay in Trincomalee where happiness will come.
10/10We were received very kindly by Kasthuri. We stayed 3 nights in this great house. If you like us, away from the tourists, feel comfortable in the middle of the locals and the fishermen, this is the place to be. For us, it was beautiful, relaxing days. We can recommend this fisherman's house 100%.
10/10Siamo rimasti un giorno in più e non volevamo ancora andarcene. Il mio posto preferito in Sri Lanka, abbastanza incontaminato da sentirsi immersi nell'area locale ma con molte cose da fare e da vedere, la gente del posto era accogliente e uscire dal cancello posteriore per raggiungere la spiaggia era un paradiso. I padroni di casa erano disponibili e la colazione era enorme e deliziosa. Per favore, non svendetevi mai alla tempesta del turismo che sta arrivando.
10/10We stayed an extra day and still didn’t want to leave. My favourite place in Sri Lanka , unspoilt enough to feel immersed in the local area but plenty to do and see, the local people were welcoming and to step out of the back gate on to the beach was paradise. Hosts were helpful and breakfast was huge and delicious. Please never sell out to the tourism storm on its way.

10/10We had nice time at this little seaside cottage, located in a cute little bay outside the main Trinco beaches. The accommodation is pretty rustic for the price we paid (off-season too) but mirrors our experience in other towns in the north of Sri Lanka. The hosts were very helpful with local recommendations but were pretty hands off during the whole time, leaving us in the care of the housekeeper Kasthuri and tuk tuk driver Arshath, who were the real stars of the show! One thing of note is that the bedroom is quite stuffy as it has no windows and there is no natural ventilation as the windows have been sealed off in the house. Consequently, we slept with both the front door windows and back door open to ventilate the room, which brought in the menagerie of street noises every evening ;)
10/10Ci siamo trovati bene in questo piccolo cottage sul mare, situato in una piccola baia fuori dalle spiagge principali di Trinco. La sistemazione è piuttosto rustica per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato (anche fuori stagione), ma rispecchia la nostra esperienza in altre città del nord dello Sri Lanka. I padroni di casa ci hanno aiutato molto con le raccomandazioni locali, ma sono stati molto discreti per tutto il tempo, lasciandoci alle cure della governante Kasthuri e dell'autista di tuk tuk Arshath, che sono stati i veri protagonisti dello spettacolo! Una cosa da notare è che la camera da letto è piuttosto soffocante in quanto non ha finestre e non c'è ventilazione naturale in quanto le finestre sono state sigillate nella casa. Di conseguenza, abbiamo dormito con le finestre della porta d'ingresso e la porta sul retro aperte per ventilare la stanza, il che ha portato un serraglio di rumori di strada ogni sera ;)
