Little Cove House

We absolutely loved our stay at Cove House. The location, with its ocean and surf break view, is perfect (especially for surfers). The meals were delicious with more than enough food for all. The staff took really good care of us, including when we had to ward off monkeys who wanted our breakfast, and hunt down late night supplies then a TukTuk for friends to go home. Only stayed 2 nights - wish we’d managed at least a week.

Great house in an even better place! Within walking distance of a lovely beach. Very well received by Sam, the house manager! Super friendly and he really took great care of us! Delicious food. They really have a top chef who likes to cook for you. The kitchen is a bit small, but it's also not really the intention for yourself to cook. A house with all the comforts, super staff on a very nice idyllic beach. Would definitely come back.

This is really a calm oasis imbedded in greenery! We felt at home from the beginning and Katy also upgraded us for one night to the main house which magnificent and quite frankly one of the nicest places I ever stayed at. More than the house and environment Katy is super nice to communicate with and her staff is lovely and will take amazing care of you and cook you delicious meals if you so wish - and trust me you will want that!!

We loved staying at Little Cove. We spent two weeks here in late April with our four young children and had a fantastic holiday. The set up was perfect for us - a stones throw from Hiriketiya Beach where we spent all day everyday. The breakfast and dinners at Little Cove (prepared by their friendly team) were delicious and made to our liking. Dinners were honestly SO good. We would have eaten there every night, but also wanted to head out and try different spots in Hiriketiya. The beds were comfortable. The rooms are large. The staff was so helpful and kind. Wifi was a bit slow at times but it’s not the fastest in many places in SL I think. And honestly, it felt quite nice only jumping on wifi twice a day and otherwise being disconnected. Overall, we would really recommend Cove House and can’t wait to come back.

This place was absolutely delightful and a real treat for the eyes thanks to it’s beautiful interior design and the location. Our stay at Katy place was wonderful and an exclusive way to enjoy this part of Sri Lanka. We also took fully advantage of the menu on offer cooked by Jayantha : the food was simply delicious. Finally Danesh, his brother Aranda and Pacy were there to assist us with everything and their unique hospitality contributed to make our stay so special. A unique place in Sri Lanka I highly recommend !
