La Villa Max Wadiya est une maison de vacances sri-lankaise située dans le village de pêcheurs d'Ambalangoda, avec un littoral spectaculaire et l'océan à quelques minutes de là où vous vous trouvez. La villa est essentiellement une maison tropicale avec des espaces ouverts qui mènent directement aux vastes pelouses, de nombreux sièges extérieurs où vous pourrez déguster un copieux petit-déjeuner pendant que les vues spectaculaires vous tiennent compagnie. Les sons de la nature sont tout ce que vous entendrez lorsque vous vous reposerez sur les chaises longues au bord de la piscine à débordement ou que vous vous prélasserez dans le jardin. La villa comprend cinq chambres - trois dans le bâtiment principal et deux dans des suites indépendantes.

La Villa Max Wadiya compte cinq chambres, dont trois sont cachées dans le bâtiment principal de la villa. Chacune de ces chambres avec salle de bains est meublée de lits king size à baldaquin et à baldaquin, avec des moustiquaires pour tenir les petits monstres à distance. De grandes fenêtres ou portes permettent d'avoir une vue sur la véranda et le jardin.
Deux chambres se trouvent dans des pavillons individuels qui contiennent non seulement la chambre, mais aussi un salon, une salle de bains attenante, un mini garde-manger et un dressing. Il s'agit d'unités indépendantes, parfaites pour ceux qui recherchent un cadre plus privé. Les chambres sont également spacieuses et confortables, de sorte que vous ne manquerez de rien.

À travers les palmiers et la flore dense des jardins, vous pouvez profiter d'une vue imprenable sur l'océan qui s'étend à perte de vue. La piscine de 20 mètres est la piscine à débordement dont vous ne soupçonniez pas l'existence, car elle s'étend jusqu'à l'eau, pour une expérience absolument magique. Un belvédère traditionnel se trouve juste au bord de la piscine, d'où vous pourrez profiter de la vue dans un confort luxueux. Dînez en plein air dans les jardins, sous les étoiles, dans un cadre parfait.
Vous pouvez vous détendre sur la véranda, où de confortables fauteuils en osier surplombent la vue sur l'océan, ou vous rendre à l'intérieur, dans le somptueux espace de vie séparé par des portes coulissantes en verre. Le salon comprend des fauteuils confortables et des canapés en bois dans un cadre tropical avec des plantes d'intérieur, la vue au centre de la scène et des ventilateurs au plafond qui gardent la pièce fraîche et aérée. La pièce a été décorée avec des œuvres d'art locales et des objets intrigants.
La salle à manger se trouve à l'entrée d'un espace magnifique où, lorsque la vue est si belle, la nourriture a tendance à être encore plus délicieuse qu'elle ne l'est d'habitude. Il y a suffisamment de places assises pour tout le monde, ce qui vous permet de faire un véritable festin avec vos proches. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et ne néglige aucun détail pour vous fournir des équipements modernes dans cette maison rustique et traditionnelle.
Pour rendre vos vacances encore plus spéciales et mémorables, le personnel de la Villa Max Wadiya fera tout son possible pour vous accueillir et vous servir avec générosité et gentillesse. Il s'occupera des tâches ménagères quotidiennes et, sur demande, préparera même les repas les plus délicieux à partir d'ingrédients frais provenant de la région. Ils peuvent également organiser des transports, des promenades dans la nature et des excursions d'une journée, si vous le souhaitez.
La villa sereine et tranquille d'Ambalangoda est un peu à l'écart des autres régions du Sri Lanka car elle pourrait bien être votre coin de paradis personnel. Vous ne trouverez pas beaucoup de trafic ici et vous pouvez facilement trouver la plage pour être isolée. Profitez de regarder les pêcheurs locaux faire leur travail pendant que la brise tropicale vous tient compagnie.
10/10We really enjoyed our short 3-day stay at Max Wadiya. This is a rare gem that ticked all the boxes! Superb beachfront, well maintained gardens & pool, and excellent service from the manager Ranjan and his team. If you are after a spot to relax & chill out away from the hustle & bustle of SL, then this is the place!
10/10Beautiful even at monsoon season At the end of the monsoon season we enjoyed the hospitality and tranquility of Max Wadiya. The hospitality was second to none, I am a repeated customer and am already looking forward to returning soon. Recommend cooking classes on site as all the meals prepared are master chef quality. Nothing was too hard for the friendly staff. They are happy to organise any excursions etc

We came on our first family sun holiday with our baby girl Isla (Who turned one on 18th march) You have been so good to Isla. She has had the best time exploring, playing in the pool, napping in the hammock (like a queen) & most importantly the unique experience of releasing baby sea turtles every evening! She has laughed & smiled so much the past 6 days! Thank you for being so wonderful! we can't go without mentioning the food! We will be dreaming of Ranjan & Co's amazing Srilankan curries. 10/10Dear Max Wadiya, Thank you for such a charming and lovely stay! The staff was all so helpful and on point, making every meal and request a delight. The grande and bration were beyond compare for their ability to invite relaxation and reflection. Yoga, massage, stroll along the beach - it all added up to a wonderful relaxing time. 10/106star place! After spending almost a month in SL we had the opportunity to compare a different types of accommodation / services provided. Without a doubt my family (2x adult, 3x kids: 9, 4 and 1) will vote for Max Wadiya to be a SL champion! We came for 7 nights, then extended for another 2 nights and then for another 5 nights. You have enough privacy, great swimming pool, clean beach with easy access to the sea and a perfectly trained staff that knows what makes your holiday perfect. RANJAN is the magic word; the word that guarantees if there is any problem, it will be fixed. What deserves special attention? Tuk-tuk driver is great (ask Ranjan). Transport from any place (ask Ranjan). You have a healt issue (Ranjan solves it). Fishing, snorkeling or diving, best massage or yoga, any wishes? Ask Ranjan! Food is more than perfect (wish anything and ask Ranjan). Curry and the salads! OMG! Small local market on Wednesdays (1 min walk from MW). Fishermans market (early morning): for nine USD (9,00 USD) you get 3 kg barracuda. Hairdresser for less than one USD (1,00 USD) in front of the main entrance to MW. Snorkelling, fishing, diving: ask Ranjan (PADI Hikkaduwa recommended). Changing money (USD or EUR) for SL rupee? Ask Ranjan (best rate, believe me!) Finally: personalised, great value, clean property, profesional attitude. Recommended! PS: Jungle Paradise for safari (ca 2,5 hours by car) perfect spot! However: Dear Ranjan, I do feel bad. For all the things you did for our family we didn´t appreciate you as we should appreciate you. Sincere apology! I´ll fix it soon!
10/10Such a Lovely Place and relaxing Stay! Such a lovely place - we extended twice our stay. First planned a week then two then an extra 4 nights. So we had a wonderful stay - which was made feeling like home by the whole Max Wadiya team. And thanks to Ranjan it will always be in our heart…Not to forget Ruth & Arthur giving the stay some special atmosphere having sunset drinks and talks and background infos about the place. Great and spacious Suite, big pool, sunset dinning and private clean beach with a lot of big waves - what else do you need to relax - yes a private crew helping you through the day and with every wish! We would love keeping this little gem all for our own… I would also recommend take a TukTuk to go to town or surfing beach Hikkaduwa and a Safari@Udawalawe!
10/10A Slice of Paradise The combination of easy access from the airport, the setting on the beach, the gourmet food, comfortable accommodation and the hospitality and graciousness of the staff makes it an unbeatable holiday destination. Max Wadiya is so welcoming and has something for all age groups. The beach is pristine and almost private; the swimming pool is stunning, the staff conjure up outstanding meals customised to our preferences and serve them in a gazebo with a million-dollar view. As they say, pictures are worth a thousand words - do take a look! No wonder this was my seventh visit to Max Wadiya!

Celebrating Christmas & New Years eve here has been an amazing experience. we loved the house, the pool, the beach, the food, but above all, we loved Ranjan and his excellent staff who all made our stay the most comfortable we could have possibly wished for. The trips we did were great and thanks to Ranjan everything always went smooth and we really had nothing to worry about! Thanks again we hope to come bak!

It is more than luxury villa, it is the sum of small details and attentions, all with a fantastic taste, which is giving an unmatched experience, allowing the visitors to almost reach the perfection of a classy layout. It is not ostentatious, it is just perfect. This is also underlined by the warm welcome we received from the Sri Lankan people. Moreover, the crew, led by Ranjan, is incredible in its ability to serve, to stay discrete and its efficiency. Always with a smile, always ready to help to ease a stay in such a beautiful environment, they are accomplishing a fantastic work. Based on the kindness and the willingness to help, they are entirely part of the unique experience at Max Wadiya villa. My family has spent a great moment, and we have enjoyed every minute. 10/10We are now in Sydney after our wonderful stay in Max Wadiya. It was truly a fabulous holiday for us all, so relaxing and just a perfect place for our two little grandchildren who took a particular shine to Ranjan. The staff were charming and Ranjan was outstanding. He is such a special man and his kindness and charm just radiate from him - I’m not surprised he has been with you for 20years - he blends into the place! We were so happy to be there together - made extra special as getting all of us in one place at the same time from UK, Singapore and France will probably not happen again for another 2 years now that in-laws etc are factored in. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The Max Wadiya is a tropical paradise and suited us down to the ground. Thank you too for making it so special with all your help beforehand in organising etc. Thank you also for the entertainment on New Year’s Eve - we were all entranced by the dancers!

10/10We arrived 2 families with 5 girls for 2 weeks. The whole time we stayed in the Wadiya it was exciting!! The people so nice, the house so welcoming. The people so much fun, the beach great and the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen!
