Relaxing experience at Handun Villas A one night stay at Handun Villas, Talalla was absolutely relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were extremely accommodating and the food was excellent. We were well looked after and they were helpful to find us transport to visit Hiriketiya in the evening also. All in all a lovely stay and plan to return later in the year during the season.

A great getaway It was the perfect place for reunion trip for a bunch of old friends. The property is located by the side of the main road, making it easy to find. We loved the fact that the villa is set in the middle of a coconut estate, so you never hear any vehicles, which is great for privacy and solitude. Lots of birds inhabit the property, including peacocks who do a walkabout now and then. The beach is right opposite the property, so a short 1 min walk down the villa path to the gate will get you there. It's a nice wide beach and the days we were there, there were hardly any people, so that was very nice. The villa itself is great for groups - you are never too far away from your rooms wherever you are in the villa. The rooms are quite big and have good AC's and amenities. Most of the time though, we ended up in the pool as it was quite a fun hangout spot. The food was fantastic right throughout and the service was exceptional - Srimal (the head person at the villa) has to be singled out especially for how well he looked after us. All-in-all a very happy stay for our group of 5 families and kids!

An amazing Colonial Experience A wonderful colonial bungalow transformed into a bespoke boutique villa, We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is a Hueenery age Coconut plantation with lush greenery all around. The Villa is a well-maintained traditional bungalow with all the modern amenities of a modern Villa. We spent a lot of time walking the gardens and saw a couple of peacocks as well, along with chilling in the extremely nice pool that overlooks the garden. The food was on point with special emphasis on Authentical Sri Lankan meals along with some great seafood western dishes.

Handun Villas is a Gem of a Stay - Outstanding Rooms, Surroundings and Staff A wonderful place to stay. Just a few hundred metres from the Beach at Kottegoda. Set far back from the road on a wonderful Colonial Style Villa, surrounded by Coconut Trees and beautiful planting, the driveway to the Villa itself is regal and stunning.. Peacocks, pranced across the lawns and a small troop of playful monkeys entertained us for hours as they play in the trees near our Villa. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with outdoor bathrooms that allow the rain to fall into the room, which is fitted with high quality fittings. The Chef and Staff at Handun Villas provide excellent food and 1st class service. We were impressed and would happily return.. Well Done all. Thank you Heshan

Best villa I had always loved staying at the Handun Villas, the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Fabulous place to relax with a huge private gardens and great service!! the inrerrior is very well done. Fantastic lighting in the room and bath and huge bath with open space. The pool is well maintained facing the massive garden. Excellent service and will recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Villa in a Stunning Spot What a gorgeous place! A few of us stayed here for two nights and had a fabulous stay. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, they literally can’t do enough to help. The pool area is well kept and beautifully lit up at night. A real highlight of our stay was the food! The full board basis is really worthwhile and you can choose from a multitude of things in the menu. Every meal we had was delicious! The beach opposite the villa is also unreal - just a two minute step across the road and you’re in paradise. We can’t wait to return!
