En el popular pueblo de Madiha, en la costa sur de Sri Lanka, calificada como una de las mejores playas del mundo, hay una casa colonial de 90 años de antigüedad que hoy se ha convertido magníficamente en una villa contemporánea de alta categoría. Conozca Stella Antique Villa, una propiedad de 5 dormitorios para 10 huéspedes con fachada de color beige y pilares blancos, a juego con puertas y marcos de ventanas de madera y tejados de estilo ladrillo. El ambiente tropical y clásico se acentúa aún más con las palmeras que se mecen y la exuberante vegetación local que rodea el exterior, así como los muebles de buen gusto y la decoración de artesanos locales con paredes de color amarillo crema en el interior. Las instalaciones incluyen una piscina y un sistema de entretenimiento interior que hacen de esta casa una obra maestra, con recuerdos de la época colonial impregnados de toques de modernidad.
Con 5 magníficas habitaciones para arrancar, pueden dormir 10 huéspedes como máximo. De ellas, 4 son dobles y la última es la habitación de los niños. Las 5 habitaciones disponen de aire acondicionado y baño privado, y el ambiente que proyecta cada una de ellas es una exquisita mezcla de lo clásico, con elementos locales de materiales utilizados, y lo decididamente moderno, con líneas limpias y elegantes en su diseño.
Los exteriores consisten en una piscina de 18 metros con sus seductoras aguas turquesas, que también tiene una parte poco profunda de 5m X 3m para los niños. También hay una valla de piscina para garantizar la seguridad de los más pequeños. Alrededor de esta zona de la piscina hay 6 tumbonas y 3 sombrillas para que los huéspedes puedan descansar con bebidas o libros mientras disfrutan del ambiente fresco y soleado que les rodea.
Los interiores son hogareños y acogedores, con muebles y artículos de madera locales, elegantes y minimalistas, así como con suelos de estilo tradicional que aportan autenticidad y mucha personalidad a la arquitectura antigua de la casa. Hay una cocina totalmente equipada a disposición de los huéspedes, mientras que las pequeñas porciones de modernidad se encuentran en su televisión inteligente, sistema de sonido bluetooth y conexión Wifi de alta velocidad para el entretenimiento de los huéspedes y las redes sociales o las necesidades de comunicación.

10/10What can I say, but.....wow! We had 5 kids and 4 adults on our holiday and this house could not have been more perfect. The amazing breakfasts every morning, teh huge pool, teh cleaning service done beautifully each day. wow. wow. wow. loved it all. Thank you!
10/10We had an amazing stay as a group of 7 adults at the villa. The pictures are an exact match to what you’ll be able to enjoy during your stay. The villa is spacious, clean & private. Feel like you are in your own private oasis. The villa manager Chaminda & his staff were beyond helpful & friendly. The breakfast each morning was outstanding, we all could not get enough of the pancakes! Highly recommend a stay with a big group as there is so much space & privacy. We lived outdoors & absolutely loved it. Lots of cute local cafes, restaurants & beach hideaways to discover when staying local or a quick 10 min tuk tuk ride drops you right into Mirissa where there are more options if you want them. The neighbourhood reminded us of Bali 20 years ago before it got super developed & busy. You’ll never want to leave!
10/10The house is nicely built and decorated, the pool is beautiful and perfect for the kids. The location is great, just a few steps from the beach. The best thing of the house is the service and the food.

After offering us a free upgrade to the bigger villa located directly at the ocean, Rooan and his team went above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality were unmatched, making us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. Whether it was booking a safari for us or making dinner reservations, the team supported with any request or concern we had. Hence, with its prime location, superb service, excellent food, and great communication, it’s a destination I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway. 10/10Amit, is a very gracious host who helped us with everything from local tips, to arranging things on a near drop of a hat. from start to the end! The villa is spacious, well appointed and generously stocked with local fruits and coffee, pool is amazing and there are many nice restaurants and beaches within a short walk. We stayed for over a week and felt like home. The entire crew is amazing; if i ever find myself back in this part of Sri Lanka, I would stay with Amit.
