Villa 238 Dutch Bay is a gorgeous and charming tropical townhouse sitting right on the beach in beautiful Dutch Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Together with some other holiday homes, Villa 238 Dutch Bay is located in a peaceful residential area in Trincomalee. From the villa's back terrace, you can access the beach directly and go swimming in the crystal clear turquoise sea. Such a little private beach paradise this villa is. A great place to sniff up some traditional Sri Lankan culture without giving up on modern conveniences.
Esta lujosa casa adosada en la playa tiene 3 dormitorios con aire acondicionado. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king-size y el baño en suite cuenta con dos lavabos y una ducha interior y exterior con vistas a la bahía. El segundo dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales y el tercer dormitorio se encuentra en la planta superior. Este dormitorio de estilo cabaña cuenta con una cama doble de tamaño queen y está equipado con una televisión por cable de 40 pulgadas. Se proporcionan sábanas y toallas de calidad, así como artículos de aseo.
Lo más sorprendente de la Villa 238 Dutch Bay es que ofrece acceso directo a la playa desde la terraza trasera. El jardín es un lugar encantador , tranquilo y privado, en el que se puede nadar en la piscina mientras se inhala la brisa marina y se escucha el sonido del mar. La piscina está equipada con luces de fibra óptica para aquellos que les gusta ir a nadar por la noche o disfrutar de una noche atmosférica al aire libre bajo las estrellas. La puerta trasera se abre a una terraza con tumbonas, con vistas a la bahía. Este es un lugar ideal para tomar el sol y relajarse con algunos amigos y bebidas frías.
El acogedor salón cuenta con una amplia cocina abierta totalmente equipada y una mesa de comedor. Hay una sala de televisión separada con un sofá, un proyector y una pantalla para su entretenimiento. Una biblioteca de más de 1000 películas y programas de televisión está disponible. Además, la Villa 238 tiene una Playstation 3 con muchos juegos. La villa está bellamente amueblada con muebles de madera de teca y caoba.
En la Villa 238 Dutch Bay se le dará la bienvenida con una cálida hospitalidad ceilandesa. El personal de limpieza vendrá a mantener su casa de vacaciones impecable y un delicioso desayuno vegetariano de Sri Lanka está incluido en el precio. También puede solicitar que un chef privado le prepare el almuerzo y la cena (se aplican cargos adicionales). La villa cuenta con wifi gratuito y agua mineral, café y té gratuitos.
Located on the beach in the pristine Dutch Bay, you won't have to travel at all for a dip in the ocean. Wonderful! The area is peaceful and residential, allowing you to get a glimpse into the authentic Sri Lankan village life. At your private villa, you get to enjoy complete privacy and a great sense of seclusion while outside, authentic Sri Lanka awaits. A short TukTuk ride brings you to the bus and train station in Trincomalee. The air-conditioned grocery shop Food City is just 10 minutes away. Go see the historic Fort Frederick which contains the Koneswaram Hindu Temple and enjoy your time here by the seaside. Do note, the rainy season on the east coast of Sri Lanka is opposite to the south coast. The most rain is expected to fall in November and December.
10/10We had an exceptional stay with four adults and two kids. It’s a beautiful house with lots of space and direct access to the beach. It was clean, bright and had everything one could ask for. We much preferred this location in Dutch Bay to the more crowded and touristic Upuveli. Highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Trinco!
10/10A great place in an authentic, non-touristy part of Trinco. The back gate opens right onto a lovely beach where the fishermen bring in their catch every morning. Quiet little street out front yet pretty close to the main shopping area. Nearby fish market is great fun in the early morning (we hired 3 scooters for a week from the guy up the road for getting around, but there are plenty of tuktuks nearby.) The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, and the cinema room and plunge pool were a big hit with our group. The breakfasts are very simple and a bit limited, and the room with two singles is a bit tight for two adults (kids probably wouldn’t notice), but apart from that it’s a great place for a group of 6 to get together for a few days. There’s a good, friendly curry house just down the road too and they also do takeaways. The apartment owners, though in Colombo at the time, were very friendly and helpful, and even organised a birthday cake for us. We had a great week. Would highly recommend.
10/10What a perfect way to end our Sri Lankan holiday. The house was perfect and we enjoyed our time here so much. The house is the perfect place to kick back and relax and watch the waves and the locals fish on the beach. Kian & Janah were so helpful from start to finish and Kasthuri was a joy to see every morning when she made us breakfast. We also enjoyed some very tasty dinners. Cannot recommend this place enough and we hope to return again soon! Thanks again Sam & Mark
