Villa Saldana is a beachfront vacation residence that embodies Dutch colonial architecture and period luxury. Areas are elaborately appointed with mostly antique pieces and, at once, amenities are contrastingly in-vogue – to assure your absolute comfort and diversion. Truly, Villa Saldana accords you ancestral vacation living amidst a breezy, coastal air.
Villa Saldana features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each adorned with classic decor and equipped with cozy furnishings. The rooms are designed with plush four-poster beds draped in delicate mosquito nets, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The villa’s two air-conditioned master bedrooms are on both ends of the common area. One of these has direct access to the swimming pool, and the other leads out to the villa’s well-appointed covered terrace. The villa also has one air-conditioned guest room. Each bedroom is connected to a bathroom.

Alongside the villa, extending to the exterior’s well cared for lawn, is the swimming pool. From one of the bedrooms and the common area, you can directly dip into its crystal-clear waters. Then, simply chill on the covered terrace at the near end of the swimming pool as you gaze out to the open sea.
On three corners of the common area are different living area seating arrangements. The fourth corner is devoted to the dining area. The villa’s appetizing cuisine is concocted by an in-house chef at a well-equipped, modern kitchen as well as at a traditional curry kitchen.
Set along the main road, the villa enjoys convenient access, though some traffic noise may occasionally be noticeable in the living area.
A stay at Villa Saldana is further enhanced by exceptional services designed to elevate your experience. Enjoy daily breakfast as part of your stay, start your day with culinary delights while soaking up the serene ambiance of this tropical haven. If there's anything else you need, our Villa Finder concierge team is here to help. Our dedicated team can assist with all your needs, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience.
At Villa Saldana, along pristine Habaraduwa Beach, you can – right out front – enjoy ideal swimming conditions especially between the months of December to April.
Close to the villa is the historical city of Galle – once a 16th century Dutch Fort – now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is a jump off point to go-to villages, temples, rainforests, mines and plantations.
10/10We have had a wonderful stay in Villa Saldana. Thank you so much! The house and pool are beautifully maintained, and the setting right on the beach with the sound of the ocean is idyllic. We have been so well looked after with incredible food. The flavours in every dish were amazing, and the fresh fish was incredible. Thank you so much!
10/10We have loved our stay at Villa Saldana. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and set in such a peaceful spot by the ocean. Huge thanks to Aruna and Sumudu for the delicious food and wonderful care. This was our first visit to Sri Lanka, and these last few days have been a real highlight, even beating the leopards of Yala! We hope to return one day. Thanks again!
10/10We had a wonderful and relaxing time here and enjoyed such tasty and sumptuous meals. Thanks go to all the wonderful carers here. Had a lovely game of golf too. A fitting finish to our 2 week stay in Sri Lanka. Wishing them all the very best.
10/10What a beautiful stay. To wake up to the sound of the waves, enjoy the sunrise, and see these beautiful doors. We will miss this place! Thank you to Sumudu and Aruna, who made our stay so memorable. Thank you for being so patient and sweet with our kids, and with us. The food was so delicious, and we are excited to take some dishes back home with us. Sri Lanka is a wonderful country, made even more wonderful by the heartwarming welcome from the locals. We will certainly be back and look forward to it already!
10/10What can I say? This beach house has been such an amazing place to stay, and we regret not staying longer. We felt so welcome with Sumudu and Aruna from the moment we walked in, and the food tasted out of this world. My kids have never enjoyed Sri Lankan food as much as they did here, and that was priceless. I told the chef that all future 5-star hotel food has been ruined for us now, as it simply can’t compare to Villa Saldana. We loved it here and hope to return soon. Until next time. Love the beach ♥
10/10We travelled from Australia and England to meet here as a family, and what a great choice it was to come here. A magical setting, relaxing while listening to the waves, where the road noise disappears the moment you step inside. The team are what made it so special, from making us feel safe at night to caring for us so well during the day. The food was out of this world. All of us from the UK and Australia tried everything and enjoyed every meal. We were in awe of Aruna’s skills in the kitchen, and everyone was friendly and full of helpful advice. Sumudu always remembered our morning tea and coffee orders. The house is beautiful and very well looked after. We loved all the different seating areas and the pool. The sunset was always magical, and so were the morning walks. Thank you from all of us.
10/10We enjoyed our stay at Villa Saldana. Staff were very welcoming and supportive throughout our stay! It is the perfect place for holiday/honeymoon. The room was very comfortable and had a very nice ocean view. Outside shower was lovely, clean, spacious and hot. We could not have imagined a nicer place to stay.
10/10We stayed there for a few days and found that our hosts and the villa had everything anyone would need for a full service catered vacation. The beach is worth the price and the added bonus of an infinity pool make it perfect for couples or a small group. The staff are willing to make anything you wish from local dishes to international cuisine...all made fresh.
