10/10Our booking was last minute after some change of plans. On a family trip of Granparents, parents and a kid. The house was as described, the view can’t be put in words. Everything was tastefully done and the staff was excellent. We were welcomed by Mr Anil who was kind and polite. The Chef Ms Usha was terrific and her staff of Ms Rasika and Ms Priya together took care of all our gastronomic needs so well. Right from an ice bucket for our champagne to well stocked cold beer, we had everything we needed. The pool was spotless and the beach was so clean. We wish we had stayed longer and hope to return soon. Special mention for two of the best dogs! Randy and Nico were really nice and escorted us on each beach walk. Definitely better than any airbnb/hotel situation I have been in, in a very long time. I stay in 4 hotels a month around the world and what you have beats almost all of them.
10/10thank you for an amazing vacation, everything was just perfect, the villa and the staff.
10/10Location: The property is located right beside the sea. It has a wonderful view of the sea and clean beaches are easily accessible from the property. Property: Very well maintained, rustic feel and quite spacious. There are large balcones on first floor to enjoy the sound of sea waves in the night. You can even see white crabs in the night. The rooms are large enough to fit 8-10 folks. All amenities were as per the description on Airbnb. Food: The chef is good and open to make adjustments to the menu on request. We had few vegetarian people in the group. The staff ensured they were well fed despite not many items in vegetarian. Service and staff: Very well behaved and courty. They took care of everything to get us the best experience and a memorable trip.
10/10We spent our birthday at this villa. Everything went great - we organized a festive dinner - tables were set under the trees and decorated the territory. We were also provided with a performance of artists who pleasantly brightened up for the evening. The hostess also organized a surprise for us in the form of cake and fireworks - I really liked it. The staff is nice and unobtrusive. The villa is worth the money, located at the end of the beach right on the shore. The villa itself is old and gives an atmosphere of privacy and relaxation. The view from the territory and the villa itself is very beautiful. The sea is suitable for swimming, which is not ubiquitous. There is also a swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Everything is clean enough. The staff will fulfill any of your wishes. We recommend this place and will definitely visit it ourselves when we are in Sri Lanka
10/10Second time staying here, impeccable service. Property right in front of the beach. Best location in Ahangama. Most notable thing are the staff - they go above and beyond on everything. Notably the two lady maids. Will be back again
10/10Our family of 4 stayed for XMas 2013 8 days at this beautiful Villa. We have traveled in many places around the world including the obvious Four Seasons, Six Senses and other luxury places but this Villa has topped them all in terms of privacy, beach, rooms, food but especially the staff that have been amazing! We will return and already looking forward to it.
10/10We recently stayed at South Point Abbey which is situated on the beach next door to South Point Villa. The two level house is situated in a lovely tropical garden setting overlooking the sea with lovely verandahs upstairs and downstairs and an infinity pool. All our meals (which are optional from a menu and at an extra cost) were served to us on the downstairs verandah. The chef is fantastic and we found the food to be well worth the money spent. We have even come home with some delicious recipes which he kindly shared. The property is approximately 15 - 18 kms from Galle itself so guests can either use the local "tuc tuc" transportation or the South Point driver and vehicle. We did find this transport to be somewhat expensive but still used it on a few occasions as we felt it to be a safer option. However the "tuc tuc" rides we did take were tremendous fun. The house is fully staffed and we cannot speak more highly of them. Besides the glorious views and very comfortable accommodation, the excellent staff certainly helped to make our holiday so memorable. Their constant smiles and outstanding service were above and beyond what we had expected. South Point Abbey does have a busy road running behind it but with the sound of the sea at night, we were not particularly disturbed by the noise. All in all, we had a fantastic, relaxing stay and hope to visit again in the future. We would definitely recommend South Point Abbey.
