Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Habaraduwa House has been crafted with a love for the ocean and the pristine coastline of Sri Lanka with stunning palm-fringed gardens, unmatched views of the Indian Ocean, and sprawling common areas for outdoor fun. Designed for utmost privacy and convenience, each of the four bedrooms at the villa is housed in separate corners and accessible straight from an outdoor area.
Lovely, rustic interiors with a dash of sophistication and exotic décor elevate your holiday experience. Habaraduwa House is found near Koggala Lake and only 5 km from the city of Galle.
Habaraduwa House is home to four lovely bedrooms that are spread across the property for added privacy. One bedroom is situated on the first floor of the main pavilion while the other three are found on the ground floor accessible from the garden. The bedrooms are enviable since they provide an exceptional vantage point to enjoy stunning ocean views. Designed in blue and white colours, the bedrooms are soothing and calm with four-poster king beds facing large windows.
Air-conditioned and cosy, you can relax all day in your private oasis. Ensuite bathrooms with indoor and/or outdoor showers, double-hand basins, and modern amenities are found with each room.
The inviting ocean resides in your front yard at Habaraduwa House and when the water is calm, you can even swim in the crispness, only after exercising extreme caution. The gorgeous swimming pool is nestled between a grove of coconut trees that lean towards the sea in reverential abandon. The stone deck houses sun chairs and you have a vast terrace with outdoor sitting and alfresco dining to enjoy the scenery.
Habaraduwa House is a paradise for travelers who are looking for a breather away from city crowds. The living room combined with several common areas around the green courtyard make ample space for guests to enjoy a break. The sitting area leads you to the pool deck and the connecting doors allow in abundant fresh air. The rustic and old-world ambiance of the living room adds to a comforting and homely ambiance.
The plush armchairs and sofa with a one of a kind coffee table and the ambient lighting create a lovely atmosphere where you can rest. A games room and DVD/books library is open to guests with board games, a computer with internet, and more.
Housed in a traditional ambalama, the dining room is simply exquisite as it looks out at the ocean and at the same time allows in the fresh tropical breeze. The open-concept pavilion is a traditional gateway to enjoying a more integrated living experience. Have a hearty feast on the weathered-effect dining table along with your friends and family. Let the villa chef enthrall you with delicious and unique local flavours.
The smooth functioning of the villa is overseen by the villa manager who is happy to assist with anything you need including airport transfers and car rentals. Housekeeping staff ensures that you have a clean and well-managed house at all times.
The location could not have been more ideal since the beach is right in front of the villa gardens. You can simply walk to the sandy shores of the beach whenever you wish. The lovely Koggala Lake is only 5 minutes away from the villa and you can drive a little further, about 25 minutes, to reach the historic streets of Galle with its iconic Dutch Fort, also a UNESCO heritage site.
