A stunning colonial property built during the Dutch colonisation of Sri Lanka, Villa Velmarie underwent a refurbishment in 2014. While the villa now features a full range of modern amenities, it still retains its colonial charm.
Spread out across a sprawling compound, the living spaces in the villa blend in seamlessly with its surroundings, and are tastefully furnished with antiques handed down through the generations. Guests at Villa Velmarie will enjoy impeccable hospitality and excellent in-villa dining experiences featuring a wide array of cuisines.
In addition to accommodation, the daily rates for Velmarie Ayurveda Retreat includes three meals, consultation with an Ayurveda doctor, Ayurveda massages, and therapies.

Three of the rooms offer views out to the pool. The villa also can be booked as a whole or on individual room basis.
A sparkling pool, flanked by swaying palms takes center stage outdoors. Taking leisurely strolls through the well-maintained garden is a great way to unwind in the evening.
Villa Velmarie’s living spaces are spread out across a vast compound.
