The rooms are air-conditioned, the ones upstairs lead to the terrace while the ones downstairs lead to the garden. The minimal, traditional décor shines abundantly through the artwork, Indian textile bedding, rustic furniture, etc. Each bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom that is equally opulent with ornate interiors and modern amenities.

To enjoy the tranquillity and sense of calm outdoors, enjoy a rustic meal on the alfresco dining table found in the veranda with nothing but the sounds of nature keeping you company. The ceilings soar high above the rooms with long-stemmed fans to keep them airy and breezy. 10/10The colonial ambience blew us away... Given the great experience we had, my husband and I thought we should post a review for those travellers who are thinking of making a trip to Galle. So here goes... 1. Location - The villa is centrally located at Lighthouse Street, making all the 'must see' places readily accessible. 2. Hospitality - The staff were absolutely amazing...They ensured that we were always comfortable and tried to get us everything we needed. 3. Room hygiene - Our room and bathroom could not have been cleaner. It was well maintained. 4. Food - The food at the villa was very good. But what needs special mention is the eggs benedict with hollondaise sauce.
