Casa Heliconia

Casa Heliconia features majestic bedroom pavilions that accommodate the three bedrooms at the villa. The first one is designed after Cambodia’s ancient temples and celebrated royal ruins of Angkor Wat named Temple Angkor Pavilion. The second is called Pagoda Gold Pavilion and third bedroom is housed in the Doll’s House Pavilion with its own living area.

Each pavilion features spectacular interiors and design with luxurious and meticulous detailing to incorporate traditional architecture and practices. Each pavilion houses a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The pavilions are self-sufficient with a kitchen and/or dining space so everyone gets to enjoy a private ambiance.

Private verandas offering verdant glimpses of the spellbinding landscape while greenery abounds in the tropical gardens and the fresh air accompanies you at each step. Enjoy a picnic in the garden with a delicious spread while soaking up the tropical sun. Landscaped gardens include lotus ponds, water baths with bright flowers and quaint benches for magical and peaceful views.

Read a book or listen to some music for a mindful afternoon spent lounging about in the privacy of your tropical oasis at Casa Heliconia. An infinity pool overlooks the jungle and rice paddies, thus, offering ultimate privacy and a serene environment.

Casa Heliconia has been designed with attention to detail as you will find four distinct pavilions housing the living and dining spaces as well as the three bedrooms. The two pavilions - Neapolitan and Doll’s House – house the living area, media room and relaxation spaces. Featuring stately interiors marked with sheer opulence and rich themes, the luxurious setup of the living area is ornately decorated for a well-rounded royal experience.

You have comfortable settees for lounging and stunning garden views as well. The intricate hand-crafted faux gilded doorways, wall tapestries and artwork are all period pieces depicting the historical relevance of this manor house turned private villa.

A fine and intimate dining experience is made available just beyond the jungle views for an immersive feast along with nature’s wonders. There is an impressive spread with local dishes and flavours to reflect Sri Lanka’s rich heritage. You have an air-conditioned media room as well for utmost relaxation and entertainment. A fully-equipped villa kitchen allows you to prepare food whenever you are hungry as it is fitted with all modern facilities and appliances.
